marino’s been around for a minute so some of y’all may already be tapped in but if you aren’t he’s another alt-pop artist you may enjoy 🎈💛

marino just dropped his latest single “rip out your eyes” and it’s already one of the more catchier and relatable alt-pop tracks that i’ve heard so far this year. the title feels like this is going to be some sort of aggressive metal song, but it’s a truly catchy and sweet track

marino explores the all too common feeling of wanting someone else to see your life through your eyes. with a catchy acoustic guitar line and light and poppy vocals from marino, this is a really nice and meaningful alt pop track

“im sorry mom” is one of the more ironic songs in his catalogue. marino sings about being the failure of his family because he didn’t want to go to college for business. with over 30 million streams on this song alone, it seems like taking the artist route has worked out even better for him

despite this track no longer being relatable for marino’s situation, it’s really nice to hear someone who made it as an artist have these feelings of failure and doubt. not to mention once again the poppy vocals and bright guitar with a solemn progression makes this track really stick in your head

his most popular track right now is the heavily anime inspired “devil in disguise.” fans of marino have frequently pointed out references between the narrative in this track and the anime “demon slayer”

the more western sounding guitar and more narrative storyteller like tone that marino takes is a big switch up from his usual content. i really enjoy marino’s world building in this track and his bright and poppy tone provides a nice contrast to the instrumentals

what do y’all think? do you like the anonymous persona of marino? thoughts on faceless artists overall? did you enjoy the anime references? lmk below <3

Eco Log Tour 🏡🏡🏡

we are here at Orange juice travel always try to find a way to mix the luxurious with the adventure and find a way to save a buck while doing so and our little Airbnb find in Tori Panama was the perfect combination of all those things.

Tori is completely off the beaten path about 4 1/2 hours from Panama City, it’s got a community of locals and ex patriots who have immigrated here to make it an eco-sustainable living community. Our luxury ecological was part of that co-op and was an absolutely magical experience.

From the wall of ceiling glass, the feeling of literally being in the jungle and it’s ease and access. It has to be one of our favorite places. We’ve stayed at to date and we could not recommend it enough.

If you’re headed to Panama anytime soon, feel free to DM us for the link to this incredible stay

🏝️👙🏄🌊 - Playa Torio

Day six we woke up in the jungle and what felt like the end of the world and after having a great little at home breakfast, we are headed to the beach. The incredible thing about Torio is that well there is infrastructure there. It really is untouched by the spoils of man so to speak the beaches are clean, simple, and beautiful, with locals and visitors alike, swimming reading and cooking on the beach.

And after getting a little bit sunburnt, despite it being overcast, we are headed back to the Airbnb and ended up getting an incredible dinner at a local Panamanian Mexican fusion spot. We met the owner’s nephew and learned all about the culture of Tori and then spent the rest of the night in our Airbnb looking at the giant bugs as you can see in our last shot James’s hand for comparison when it comes to the size of some of the grasshoppers in Torio.
