Who Runs NYC

This past Saturday, the team got together at my crib as we got ready to head downtown to compete against some of the fastest crews in NYC in a 4x400M relay race by @nikenyc. We gave it our all and walked away with a podium finish. Proud of what we were able to accomplish and excited about the future. Back to work.

Today, We Run Uptown toed the line on Orchard Street against five other NYC running collectives for the 4x400 relay at @NikeNYC’s WHO RUNS NYC?

For one afternoon, Orchard Street became our track, bringing together running crews, sportswear, community, competition, and the energy that only New York City can create.

We came downtown to represent Uptown, competed our asses off, and walked away with a 3rd-place finish.

But more than the podium, today was about showing up for the city and celebrating the communities that continue to move NYC forward.

Proud of everyone who repped WRU and left it all on Orchard Street.

Uptown showed up. Uptown represented.

Uptown Games was one of those days that reminds you how special it is to be part of a community. Competing, cheering each other on, laughing, challenging ourselves, and just enjoying every moment.
So happy and grateful I got to experience all of this with Team @circa95 ✨🚩
The best part was getting to share it all with you guys!

Weekend was too good: doing some of my favorite things with some of my favorite people.

Huge shout out to @wrucrew for organizing the funnest Uptown Games field day and my team @circa95 for giving me the opportunity to compete alongside some talented hula hoopers and potato sack hoppers. Sensational.
This was truly healing. And we won third place hehe

“You belong here. You deserve to feel this joy” - I chanted to my inner child.

It’s tough sometimes to navigate this thing called adult life, but it’s definitely makes it more fun to share miles and food with teammates, to see people truly happy accomplishing their goals and doing things they love, to dance without fear, to have a heart who sees the real you and a small circle of real friends who are there for you holding your hand through thick and thin and some are even down to try (and take it home) a new recipe you created on a whim hungry while at the market 🐐

My heart is safe. No matter what.

Tuesdays are for #TRACKFORTHEPEOPLE

Walking into my first ever track practice this past winter, I was nervous and kept asking myself, “What am I doing here?” I’m grateful I showed up.

Thank you to @fueledbyair for introducing me to @circa95 a program truly built for the people, by the people.
Working with Coach @pattydukes and Coach @rephstar has completely changed the way I see running. They taught me that it’s not just about speed, but about moving with intention, control, and discipline.

Track has made me stronger, faster, and more confident. More importantly, it gave me a family that holds me accountable, pushes me to grow, and inspires me to become the best version of myself.

Grateful to have experienced this during my marathon freshman year. Sometimes the things that scare you the most become the experiences that shape you the most. Let’s get this money!

Had so much fun pacing for @salomon at their newest store in the flatiron district. Tested the Aero Blaze 4 and they felt amazing, even after a hard workout last night they were super comfortable. Also saw some friends. Shoutout to @circa95 for bringing me in to pace 🏃🏽‍♂️

Testing the waters out with my new Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2 glasses ! Decided to become a film maker and did a lil video with my friend during iur 10 mile long run today June 13th !
Even though the video is choppy its better than doing nothing really !
