there is much 2 celebrate in the month of september

it’s a strange thing to near the end of a creative journey spanning over six years. the events that inspired @georgia.thefilm all that time ago are still some of the most formative in my life. i’ve spent so long putting my artistic goals and my in some regard my self in the context of those moments that’s it’s quite strange to feel as if it’s almost over. of course it won’t ever be over but instead merely evolved into something new! it’s taken me a long time to process what it means to have worked with so so many incredibly talented people across multiple disciplines to make a silly idea i had for a film about girls in the woods a year ago come to life. i don’t know if i’ll ever finish processing what that means. thank you to each and every person that helped out in the process of making this film, even if all that was stopping by on set to say hello or letting me rant to you when i got writers block. to my fabulous camera team, g+e team, hmu, producers, sound, art department, pa’s, ad’s, wardrobe, cast, and to my equally insane (as i) writing partner and inverse hair twin, the biggest of all thank yous. none of this could have happened without you and i am and will be forever grateful for your contribution in the making of this film.

Crikey is premiering at the @bushwickfilmfest on Sun. Oct. 11 at 2:30pm as part of the short narrative program called The Things That Shape Us. The screenings are hosted at Williamsburg Cinemas. We are so thrilled to be a part of this festival and hope to see you all there. Tickets in our bio.

We are beyond excited to announce that CRIKEY has been officially selected for the 19th Annual Bushwick Film Festival in New York City! The festival runs from Oct. 7-11, with screening dates and ticketing info coming soon. 🎬🎥

Thank you to the Bushwick Film Festival team for the recognition, and for the opportunity to showcase the hard work that went into this project. We couldn’t be more proud of our cast, crew, and production team! Looking forward to bringing the film home to Brooklyn. 🐊
