Olivia’s “Carry Me” full solo. She learned this solo in March to perform at a competition where she couldn’t compete with her other solo.

@jalynstough did such an amazing job (as always! ❤️), and Olivia loved it so much that we ended up competing this piece a few more times.

The song is short, but it is so beautiful! 🤍

Thank you again, Jalyn, for one more beautiful choreo for Olivia, and a special thank you to @delanabensonn for helping Olivia with her contemporary moves on this piece!

Day 8… the final day of the NYCDA Outstanding Dancer Experience. 🤍✨

We wrapped up an unforgettable week with workshop classes taught by @kimcraven.2, @cindyweliksalgado, @ali_dietz, and @tonytesta7fd0. Every class throughout the week pushed me to grow and reminded me why I love to dance!

I also fell in love with the Phoenix/Scottsdale area, and I couldn’t have asked for better housemates to share this incredible experience with. The laughs, late-night talks, and memories we made together are ones I’ll treasure forever. 🌵🏜️☀️

A huge thank you to all of my dance teachers @tycdance for believing in me, encouraging me, and helping make this incredible opportunity possible. I wouldn’t be here without your guidance, support, and countless hours of hard work. 🥹

Thank you, @nycda, for an experience I’ll never forget. My heart is so full, and I’m leaving with lifelong friendships, endless inspiration, and memories that will stay with me forever.

Forever grateful to be part of the Outstanding Dancer Experience. 🫶🏻🩰

Day 7 @nycda was filled with the most incredible memories. 🥰

The day began with workshop classes taught by @suzitaylor30, @joeydowlingfakhrieh , Andy Pellick, and @jasonluks . I loved every opportunity to learn from these amazing instructors throughout the week.

That evening was the Junior Closing Gala, where we had the honor of opening the show with our Outstanding Dancer mini group piece. After working on this dance all week, it was such a special moment to hear my name called during the performance as I stepped forward to dance. It was an experience I’ll never forget. 💖

This week challenged me, inspired me, and gave me memories I’ll cherish forever. I’m so grateful for this unforgettable experience and for everyone who made it so special. 🫶🏻

Day 6 at the NYCDA Outstanding Dancer Experience was another incredible day! 🤍

We took classes with @kenneth_easter, @_jamesalonzo, @gracebuckleychoreography, and Andy Pellick, and I loved every single one of them! Learning from such talented instructors is an experience I’ll never forget. 🥰

That evening, we performed “Send Me On My Way” one last time. I’m so grateful to @kylerostan for creating such a beautiful contemporary piece. It was bittersweet saying goodbye to a dance that has meant so much to us.

The night ended with the Junior Gala and an epic Glow Party! It was the perfect way to celebrate an unforgettable week filled with amazing memories, inspiring teachers, and incredible friends. 🌟

Day 3 & 4 at the @nycda Outstanding Dancer Experience were unforgettable! ✨

After working so hard to recover from my injury, I was beyond grateful to make it back on the big stage. A huge thank you to Chelsea and @beccabullersigmund for helping me get there! Performing my solo meant the world to me, and I’m so thankful to @jenahaley.329 for creating such a beautiful piece of art. And my costume was absolutely perfect for the song—thank you, @dancerscreation! 🖤

Super special to have @raegangrace.d there to cheer me on! 🥹 One of the highlights was running into @lanterijoe and getting the chance to talk with him one-on-one!! Later that evening, we performed our Outstanding Dancer ballet audition, which was such a special experience. 🩰

✨A dream come true! ✨

I’m beyond grateful to have attended the @nycda Outstanding Dancer Experience in Phoenix, Arizona! 🌵☀️

The first two days were filled with so much OD fun, and one of the best moments was getting back on stage with my trio. E were honored to receive a Platinum adjudication and place 10th Overall out of more than 50 Mini group performances! Thank you, @robinyoung961 for creating such a fun dance that fits our personalities so well! 🤓

What made this even more meaningful was performing it for the last time one stage with friends I’ve danced alongside for years. As we head into next season, they’ll be moving away and starting middle school sports. While I’m so excited for them, I will definitely miss them!

And how much fun was it getting to stay in a house with some of my dearest dance friends? It made the week even more special! 🫶🏻

Last weekend Olivia debuted her new solo at the beautiful @nycda stage!

This is the toughest competition we attend. She learned this piece about 1 month before it hit the stage, and she received the highest adjudication (Platinum) and placed 26th overall amongst 100+ incredibly talented kids.

She also reached a goal she had for this season as she received a scholarship to be able to attend the Outstanding Dancer Experience at NYCDA Nationals.

So proud of her! 🩷

Thank you @jalynstough for believing in her and for the beautiful choreo! Thank you @kaisamikaledance for helping clean it. And thank you to all @tycdance instructors who are part of Olivia’s dance journey! 🖤❤️🤍

As we are getting ready for our first big comp this weekend, with all dances and the whole studio, I have to give these girls a shout out of how well they performed this number a few weeks ago.

We have had an “ice era” here, with the roads covered in a few inches of ice, think about an ice skating rink!, No school for 4 days, no mail delivery, no dance for 2 days.

Friday was the day of comp, the day that some school districts decided to reopen, and the mail started coming. Why am I talking about the mail? Because is where the costumes for this dance were. And guess what, they were supposed to come on Friday, by 4pm. And the dance was going on stage at 4:30! After confusion with the mail delivery company customer service and we waiting on the costumes, we were told that it would NOT be delivered that day.

Time for plan 2! Cute black Leos! And you know what? These girls danced their hearts out on that stage, a beautiful, fun, and clean dance! They placed 5th overall in one of the hardest competitions we attend! And they scored “Top of the Charts!” the highest adjudication for PressPlay! So so proud of them!

Now, costumes are in, stoned, and ready for the stage this weekend! Can't wait to see it! 🤩
