A birthday weekend for the books💋

i am still soaking in all the energy and love from this morning!
i am not even sure how to sum up the last three years of creating and running SELF, but i know i am better because of it.

we had no idea if this would work, and it did. we built a bike room from a storage room, and put it together ourselves. we learned as we went.

what a gift this dark room has been for me. i have had the privilege of watching people step into fitness for the first time and be shocked that they can like it, of watching riders vulnerably tryout to instruct and become confident and powerful instructors that shape others.
i watched strangers become friends. i watched first timers become skilled riders. i watched people loving to work out, not out of shame, but celebration.

i’ve been saying thank you all week, and i could keep doing it for weeks. today we are celebrating. the processing is coming. we have had the best staff, and instructors. we have the best community partners. we have the best riding community that will continue to whatever next. thank you thank you thank you!
