my film got double exposed from this last year, but I think they’re beautiful. these memories overlapping, intertwining. it’s been too long for me to remember every moment from when these were taken now, but maybe in 20 years i’ll look back and I’ll get to see small glimpses of time we can’t fully get back. moments pressed together like this that reek of youth and empty bank accounts. in a way, I’m glad I can’t see it all. they’re beautiful to me.

6/8 semester done!! How am I a senior now?

well i guess third time’s the charm! 👸

ooooh boy. i’m still struggling to find the words to describe this magical weekend, but i’ll try my best: two years ago, i competed in @shenandoahapo’s annual drag competition for the first time, and little freshman me would’ve never known what a journey she had in store for her. lipsync has always been my favorite part of bloom weekend; it became an annual excursion for me to compete and perform just for the fun of it and love of the art form. now, two years and three lipsyncs later, i am truly speechless and honored to be your new reigning queen.

i need to give all of my thanks to the INCREDIBLE team who helped me put together my dream drag number:

the incomparable @evanmucciarone, who miraculously found a way to make me look like a good mover!! i am forever grateful for your creative brilliance and bringing my wildest fantasy to life! So honored to have you as a collaborator and a friend!!!

my rockstar dancers: @bubbles__221, @angiecoppa.2, and @lunaorozcoo!! i am literally so obsessed with these queens. truly some of the fiercest dancers around!! all of you have inspired me every single time i’ve gotten to work with you throughout this process.

and literally the best announcer ever @jameshelsinger!! thank you for being so game to not only record your amazing voiceover for the track but also lipsync to your own voice (like, cmon!!) live and in person too! you captured my vision perfectly and i can’t imagine it any other way.

And of course, thank you to everyone who showed up and showed out for a great cause. It’s always a joy to perform in front of one of the best theatre communities. You guys are everything to me. To all of my afab drag artists who are struggling to find their place in this world, this is for you. I love you all so much!! 💚🩷💚🩷

What a beautifully chaotic week and weekend we shared together. From my last jazz class with you all, to solo performances, to the reception — there were so many unforgettable moments. I am honored to have been part of this journey with you.

Thank you for giving me purpose, for inspiring me, and for trusting me to lead you through this year. khāos, you showed everyone what it means to go against the grain — to embrace your individuality and boldly be your own unique selves. I am so proud of each of you and all that you have created.
