#hommage à Antoine Nidercorn, mon maître ❤️, en ce jour de rentrée, à qui convient si bien ce merveilleux texte :

« L’école était un lieu merveilleux, imposant et familier, avec de hautes fenêtres, une cour plantée de marronniers, un préau où nous rangions nos sabots en hiver et une pièce obscure où se trouvaient les cartes, quelques échantillons de roches, un écureuil empaillé et une lanterne à projections. À l’école, nous étions chez nous. Aussi assumions-nous les petites tâches d’entretien. À tour de rôle, nous étions désignés, par équipes, pour le nettoyage des tableaux (ce n’est pas si facile que ça), pour le remplissage des encriers (il nous arriva d’y mettre un produit qui les transforma en geysers), pour le ramassage des feuilles dans la cour, pour le rangement des armoires à « fournitures » […]
Personne, je crois, n’a jamais mieux enseigné que les maîtres de l’enseignement primaire de ce temps-là et personne n’a mérité plus de respect car ils étaient le dévouement, le civisme et la fidélité. »
