4️⃣ Holiday Season Tips 🎄

1️⃣ Maintain - the goal during the holidays is too at least maintain your fitness, a training routine, energy levels, sleep etc. Don’t stress about being perfect during the holiday period.

2️⃣ Plan - schedule your workouts, nights out, gatherings etc. Doing this will help you come up and stick to a plan to maintain your routine as we mentioned in point 1️⃣

3️⃣ Stay Hydrated - drink plenty of water. One evening of drinking won’t really impact your training or body composition. However, weeks or consistent nights will. Drink plenty of water. Aim for a minimum of 2-3 litres per day. Drink a glass of water between alcoholic drinks. You can also grab some electrolytes to help stay hydrated.

4️⃣ Sleep - the holiday period is the perfect opportunity to take some midday-afternoon naps. Go for it 😴
The holiday period is a great time to recharge your body and mind and sleep is the perfect way to do this! Aim for 7-9 hours per night. Keep as good a sleep and wake pattern as you can.

If you need a helping hand with your health and fitness, we’re here for you and we care.
