🎬 Plot twist... our house has officially become the star of our own little movie. 😂🏡

Since we’re moving, we thought we’d have a little fun and create something a bit different. Instead of just showing you photos of our home, we wanted to share some of what we’ve enjoyed about living here.

So here it is! Enjoy this little glimpse into the life we’ve built within these walls!

We know the right family is out there and we’d be so grateful if you’d take 10 seconds to share this video. You never know who in your network is quietly looking for a home in Burlington. 🙏🏻💕

P.S. What about this video makes you want to come visit this home/area?

Up for grabs!

Our beautiful home is on the market and it’s going to go quick. 🏃‍♀️

The vibe is right, the energy is aligned and this house is ready to receive its new family. 🏠

And if you look through this video and witness all you can see, please know that most of the furniture is up for grabs! Couches, beds, outdoor furniture, computer desk, dressers, etc, are all available. They can come with the home, or they can be received afterward, so if you see something you’re interested in, please reach out to me. 🛏

Also, I’ve received many beautiful messages and great feedback that people are really enjoying the way our home feels, the way it looks, all of it. And I just want to shoutout some very special people. 🙏🏻

This beautiful home of ours would not look the way it does without the help of some incredibly special people. The very talented @jmm1655, @kerri_beauco and @caylaaltorf, brought their hearts, their visions, their ideas, their items and their incredibly optimistic and fun attitudes to the party and we all came together to create this really special space. Big shoutout to them. I am over the moon grateful for your love, your support, and the way you can make a space feel just right. 😘

Reminder, we are having another fun-filled Open House this coming Sunday, June 7th, from 2-4pm at 2871 Darien Road, Unit 30. Come along, tell your friends and let’s have some fun together! 💃🏼🎶🍿

Love,
The Lowis Family 👨‍👩‍👦‍👦

Guys!
Our beautiful home that we have lived in since Toby was a baby is on the market. It’s feeling fresh, it’s ready to receive the family that is meant to have it and our family is off on an adventure that’s been in the making for many years. We would like to honour and celebrate this very special and emotional occasion by having an open house this weekend where people are welcome to come by, say hi, hug, have a snack, check out our home, listen to some music, play in the park and celebrate all that there is to celebrate in this human experience we are all enjoying. So please, come by this coming Sunday to 2871 Darien road, Unit 30, from 2-4pm! Yay! See you then!
Love,
The Lowis Family 💜

Letting it land is about integration. About Letting the learnings from an experience bleed through to your conscious mind. So they fully sink in. Make sense. Create meaning. Then you can seal them in with reflective practice and intentional behaviours. So the change that takes place on the inside is reflected in our actions on the outside.

It's part V of our Changemaker framework. A framework for self determination and living a purposeful, connected life.

It's also the hardest for me to do. To slow down. Rest. Allow. Receive. Feel deeply all the lessons.

Changemaking is both professional and personal for me.

I learned a LOT this session....

About softness. About friendship. About Love, and, how precious joy is.

Thank you to all the families who gave their all to this experience.

I hope it changes you in all the good ways too.
And, from the vantage point of Melvin's beach chair, while he fishes for lobster 🦞, life ahead looks sweet today and I am excited for our next adventures together!

Nos vemos pronto! But for realz

This was such a transformative Hive Changemaker, that we've collectively decided to come back together for 6 months, September 2026 through March 2027.
So, if you are an intentional, intrepid, open-hearted, adventurous family with kids 4-16, looking for a place to put down roots (make friends, grow food, learn Spanish, integrate into a slower & more joyful way of life) whilst keeping the wind beneath your wings (freedom to travel, grow your business, try new things, build this WITH us) then please comment COMMUNITY below!

Thrifting Dominican style!
We are learning about 'stuff'.
How it's made, distributed, consumed & disposed of.
#fast fashion causes a whole world of problems for people & planet. And, thanks to @storyofstuff we were inspired to take action.

Watch this creative space to see what comes next!
