KUMBAYA ( Come by here )

Sometimes last year during the height of Covid-19 when everyone was loosing taste of reality and their sanity. I discovered this Riverside in my hood where I go sit at evenings.
Everything about the riverside looked like peace from the bush by the side to the abandoned boats and pedals and the waves of the water.
On a good day the riverside was meant to be busy with people taking boat rides to their destinations, fisher men and even little kids coming to swim. I won't say it was a shadow itself during this period because it seemed like the presence of the living polluted the peace I experienced during that period
Many times I sat the riverbank while staring at the water, Those moments felt like dinning with the creator and having a discussion about your worries.
I went back weeks ago to create peace with an environment that gave me peace when I need one.
