BTS of the restaurant scene in my short film The Prequel

this was the original lighting setup that was later changed to what see in the actual film

a great tip for natural conversion is to get talking and into character just before the camera gets rolling

on my vision board i had @gbemigirls for Ade as she is definitely a #gbemigirl and we ended up having not one but two pieces! i’ll go in later on costume as it was so intentional

the making of this scene was soooo much fun. it was the last scene of the day and i was capital T tired but everyone really made it happen

slide 2 Andrew is a simple and grateful man lol

slide 4 @chezchristie got the prop ring stuck on her finger 😂

slide 7 i’m shy, i’ll explain the blooper too

here is the official film poster for THE PREQUEL 🎥 out now 👆🏿

i’ve been drawing this poster for a while now and here it is in completion

THE PREQUEL

Ade and Andrew, a young couple, appear on a talk show to share their love story and celebrate their engagement. But beneath the smiles and sweet memories, something unexpected begins to disrupt their big moment.

The Prequel is a romantic comedy that explores love, identity, and the unseen challenges that test even the strongest connections. Serving as a pilot for the forthcoming feature film, it offers a glimpse into what lies beneath a seemingly perfect love story.

Here I was minding my business when I came across a post @bizzleosikoya shared on his stories. It was an audition. I sent in my tape and bagged the role. I loved every minute of shooting this and I can’t wait till you get to see the full film “Four of Cups” 🎥

i was given the opportunity by my dear friend @fizzy__cola and her production company @oloriproductions to draw the poster for her new film ‘Four of Cups’ for @googleuk Google Network during #blackhistorymonth

I took the brief and created something very literal - a hand holding the four if cups. within my work I like to focus on the details, so my goal was to focus the hand and card and capture every crease and the gentleness the same way the actual film communicates it’s story and message.

Check out @oloriproductions for the full poster and keep up with them
