FEMI KUTI | FELABRATION 2026

As we draw the curtains on this year’s edition of Felabration, we look back at the performances, the music and the moments that made this year’s celebration special.

Femi Kuti continues to carry the sound and spirit of Afrobeat, keeping alive a legacy that started with his father, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti.

Another edition comes to an end, but the music lives on, the message remains, and the story continues to be told.

Until next year, Felabration.

OLUSEGUN & THE STALLION BAND | FELABRATION 2026 📸

The music, the energy and the people who keep the culture alive.

Olusegun and The Stallion Band were part of the performances at this year’s Felabration, bringing their sound to a festival built around celebrating the life and legacy of Fela Anikulapo-Kuti.

Year after year, Felabration creates a space for artists to express themselves while keeping the spirit of Afrobeat alive. These performances are part of a bigger story, one that continues to unfold with every edition.

A few frames from their performance.

OLUSEGUN & THE STALLION BAND | FELABRATION 2024 📸🔥

There’s something special about watching musicians come together on stage and bring a sound to life.

In 2024, I photographed Olusegun and The Stallion Band at Felabration, an annual festival celebrating the life, music and legacy of Fela Anikulapo-Kuti.

Felabration is more than a music festival. It’s a celebration of Afrobeat, Nigerian culture and the ideas that made Fela’s music stand for something beyond entertainment. Year after year, it brings together musicians and audiences to keep that legacy alive.

As a photographer, these are the moments I want to preserve. The performances, the musicians, the atmosphere and the stories unfolding on stage.

I may be looking back at 2024, but these images are part of a bigger story I hope to keep telling for years to come.

Because documenting history isn’t always about the biggest names or the loudest moments. Sometimes, it’s simply about making sure the moment isn’t forgotten.

Felabration 2024. Documenting culture, preserving history, one frame at a time.
