Attempting to sum up the most glorious winter solstice through various phone footage; three shows in Nipaluna for Dark Mofo with the band & friends!
My favourite moment was at the Winter Feast on Friday evening when the crowd sprang jump to their feet during the end of ‘in my body’ … as usual I was sort-of-holding back a ferocious flood of tears.
Thank you to everyone we crossed paths with, and all the artists inspiring us, what a weird and wonderful week 🖤🍷

Tilly Vickers Willis & her band welcome you into the darkroom to experience the making of her beautiful and haunting debut record, Silver Halide Film. Guided by the conventions of photographic processes, the performance will explore each song as a newly developed photograph, each with its own distinct, mysterious world, inky and wet to the touch.

Joined by a handpicked array of special guests including @butternutsweetheart, @hugen_tpsound [JPN] & poetry by @_sunnymorris and more to come, the evening is guided by feeling over genre, drifting fluidly through an eclectic sonic palette: triphop, folk, dub, rock, singer/songwriter & ambient sounds.
