Sumou Boulevard’s campaign starts from a very small moment that somehow carries the whole promise of modern living: the gate. Not the apartment, not the clubhouse, not the view, but that awkward entrance ritual where comfort suddenly turns into a QR code, a missing sticker, a phone call that no one answers, and occasionally a full debate about whether you are allowed to enter the place you are supposedly going to. That is why the comedy works. The copies exaggerate the situation, but only by a little. A guest trying to reach the clubhouse somehow ends up with Tamer in the car, and an owner has to explain that he is, in fact, the owner, while the system keeps treating him like a visitor. It is ridiculous, but familiar enough to make the point land. The smart move is that the brand does not introduce its features as decoration. Smart gates, the community app, CCTV with AI, and a smoother access system arrive as the answer to a frustration we have already watched unfold. Sumou Boulevard is not just saying it is more advanced; it is saying a smarter place should not make you stop, prove yourself, or negotiate with the gate. The line “ما توقفش على البوابة، عدي منها” works because it is not just a line about access. It is the campaign’s whole promise: if the place belongs to you, it should know you belong. Sumou Boulevard just put out a set of four comedy ads, and they are worth the two minutes. Directed by @omarareba for @gentlegiantstudios_ , the films build everything around a security guard who takes the gate far too seriously, with @mahmoud_husssam and @_arafaa in the lead. Sumou Boulevard is the new mixed-use development in Mostakbal City from @paragon.adeer The campaign was created by @eslamhossamm, with @malakzeineldine and @alyareba as director’s producers, @hamzon.x on cinematography, Omar Alaa on art direction and @shamseloraby on styling. @mohammedarafa_ executive produced, @mostafa_yahia_elogerey served as first AD and @maihamdy_ as second AD, with Nour Walid line producing, Amr Sayed and Yassine Headir assistant producing, Ahmed Sobhy heading production, Islam Maghawry as production manager and @kmohsens producing. Post was handled by @vividstudiosmena, with @hussienmokhtarr editing, @gendyo on colour, @morsico on sound and @fadygaras on sound design.
