This is my Festool CT 36 dust extractor. It’s an older model from a few years back, but I love it and still use it on pretty much every job site. It’s a little big and heavy, so I’m always coming up with “genius” ways to lug this thing up and down the houses I’m painting. Gorilla Glue invited me out to visit their headquarters in Ohio with a handful of other great creators and I had a blast. Everyone on the team over there knows what they’re doing. They have a deep understanding of the products and you can tell they’re passionate about providing quality products to the market. - I’m so impressed by the extent they go to test their products and ensure they can back up claims they make as well as how genuinely happy everyone is to be a part of their team. Gorilla glue remains a family owned business ran by brothers looking to just provide the best quality to the market. - As an entrepreneur hiring my first employees and working with more people on a team as well as developing products getting a first hand look at what others have built is nothing short of inspiring. - Thank you @thegorillagluecompany for having me out, it was a blast 🧡🧡

Just got back from an awesome trip to Cincinnati for the very first Pro Day at @thegorillagluecompany and man… I was impressed. From the culture, to the people, to seeing everything that happens behind the scenes, it’s easy to understand why they’ve been voted one of the best places to work for 15 years in a row. Being selected as 1 of only 5 brand ambassadors is a huge honor for me and Ruiz Renovations. They truly treated us like family, valued our insight, and made us even more excited to work alongside a brand we already trusted on the jobsite. I spent a few days in Cincinnati with the best crew of people at @thegorillagluecompany ! But- before I share demos, inside looks, and maybe a few secrets that I promise I’ll be allowed to share- I want to first talk about what made this trip so special! When I work with a company, it starts with a product I believe in. Gorilla Glue makes that really dang easy because literally their products are second to none! But- beyond that, I look at their culture, who makes up their team and also who else in our creator space they align with. What made this brand trip absolutely the next level for me, was learning more about the brands story, and hearing the enthusiasm and love their team has not only for their products but their crew and by extension us. They asked questions, we asked questions- nothing was off limits. They were honest and transparent in why they choose to avoid certain markets, they loved hearing what we want to see, and they loved hearing what we needed and wanted in their products. All of the creators on this trip are in their PRO program. That’s the deal. We represent several different niches, we approach content different, but the thread that binds us, is that we need products that work for our business. I’ve met a few of these amazing folks before, like @omarbuildsit and @winni.designs at trade shows- they are both passionate and incredibly kind and smart men who love their families and their work in equal measure. @thattilechick and I live an hour apart, and have been friends online for a long time, we talked a lot last year with the bathroom renovation and she always had the best advice and input- but now I can’t imagine if she wasn’t in my life! Literally- dirty camera girls for life now! @ruizrenovations is someone I met for the first time on this trip- but I’ll be so honest, this dude is going places! He’s a standup dude, even when I bail on playing cards until 3 am, ha! Annette at @513woodworks saw me at one of the hardest times in my life, shortly after my really big back surgery, and I wasn’t myself, the pain ate at me on that trip. She knew that and never judged me for it. Continued in comments. 😉

Every year I attend, along with many friends, the HARDWARE HUDDLE event in South Carolina. This is an event that many brands set up booths to showcase their products, and us content creators get to use the products hands on, meets the people behind the brands and be spoiled rotten by our friends at the Hardware Huddle/Ringofire. This is an event I look forward to EVERY year. Thank you to everyone at the HARDWARE HUDDLE for another EPIC event. 🫶🏻. My apologies that I didn’t have enough tag spots for the final picture.
