Incredibly thankful for the opportunity to work for 3 weeks with the @theatre.national.tunisien drama school in February/March (plus extending for a 4th week to develop some performances). It started when @eleuchibesma introduced me (and @eikaeik) to the director of the theatre, Mr. @m_mrabet_ last year. And from there Mr. Mrabet and @saharr_riahii worked with me to organize a wonderful program. Teaching 6 days/week 6-7 hours/day was an intense but beautiful experience. And getting to develop material for three very different situations, including a giant outdoor stage for a festival during Ramadan was a unique experience for me and a great learning experience for the artists. Hopeful that this is the start of a long-term collaboration.

Many thanks for the dedicated efforts of the artists whom I was able to work with over the four weeks, to everyone at the National Theatre, and to my friends @ali_belwafi and @emna.denguezli for organizing additional workshops while I was in Tunisia. Also infinite thanks to @mounabenhajzekri, @khliltriki, Basma and Monem - for being like family to me whenever I'm in the country, and to my besties @whimsy.yuss and @souha_dougui for giving me the occasional joyful necessary breaks from the theatre world.

Aychek!
