This week’s Comms Professional Spotlight is @omawumio , Founder and Managing Partner of GLG Communications, Editor-in-Chief of GLAZIA, and creator of the PR Power List, now in its fifth edition and widely regarded as Nigeria’s most credible recognition in communications.

She sits on the Board of PRCA UK, the world’s largest professional PR body, and is the first female President of the Life Coaches Association of Nigeria. From building an industry benchmark to shaping the global conversation, her influence keeps growing, and so does the standing of African communications talent.

Congratulations to her on a career built on substance, strategy, and staying power.

11-year-old Tianna is still gagging!

Last week, I took the stage in NYC, the city that made all my dreams come true at Live Nation during United Nations General Assembly!!!!!! A dream, a BIG DEAL 🤯🥰🤩I’m used to helping other people tell their stories, so being the one holding the mic still feels a little wild, but I LOVE it.

Sharing this space with women using their brilliance & voices and platforms to shake up the world inspires me to continue using mine.

Thank you to @worldwomanfund Woman Foundation and @thedashshot Dash for creating this space. I’m excited to see how it blossoms.

26 YEARS OF GRACE. 🤲🏿❤️

Alhamdulillah for life, growth, the journey, and everyone who has been part of it.

This year, I’m choosing to celebrate differently, by giving back.

I’m calling on my family, friends, mentors, supporters, and everyone who believes in the Fearless Journey to Greatness to support this birthday fundraising.

Every contribution counts. Every contribution will be properly documented and accounted for.

Let’s turn 26 years of grace into impact. ❤️‍🔥

Happy birthday to me. 🎂🚴🏿‍♂️

@itsekiriglobalhomecoming IGH 2026 has come and gone, and I am still basking in the success of what we built. 🌊👑

As an Itsekiri woman, this one is close to my heart. When the opportunity came to serve my King @oluofwarri and Queen @oloriatuwatseiii and lead Events, Partnerships and Sponsorship for the inaugural Itsekiri Global Homecoming, I jumped at it without a second thought. Watching this vision, half a decade in the making for His Majesty, Ogiame Atuwatse III, the Olu of Warri, come to life in Warri was one of the proudest moments of my career.

Thank you to my incredible Homecoming planning committee, led by @taradurotoye and @iamademabo of the Royal Order of Iwere (ROI): @ehiademabo , @thechibie , @syvanti @iamsyvanti Uti Gabriella Ellu, @otilox, @Dola I., @omawumio @sisan.arenyeka Arenyeka, Tony Dabor, Henry Aerikowa, @shollajohnson , Chef Tuoyo and @farooqoreagba . First time idea, executed with excellence. 🙌🏾

And to my team at @alexboyoworld (ABW) and @insideglobalevents (IGE), thank you for supporting me every step of the way @joy_2_d_world @motolanidino @akinbusuyibabatopeelyjah . This one was ours too. 💛

Thank you to the brands who believed in the idea and backed us.
The numbers: 267.9M reach, 627M impressions, 98% positive sentiment. Officially the 2nd biggest cultural festival in Nigeria this year, behind only Calabar Carnival. 🏆

Already in talks with brands for IGH2027. My DM is open.

See you in 2027 👋🏾
