Nashville Cats Play Dead: Nashville-based psychedelic-rock jam band Tin Roof Cats paid homage to the Grateful Dead and its home state with a righteous cover of “Tennessee Jed” on Thursday (Oct. 15) at Stanley’s Pub in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The band’s cover of “Dark Star” sounded like the Grateful Dead jamming with space-rockers Hawkwind. Wild stuff.

For the second set, the band slipped into its alter ego called OmCats, performing otherworldly originals.

The band is currently on tour. Check ‘em out. #gratefuldead #classicrock #psychedelic #spacerock #liveentertainment

We’re getting together in East Nashville on October 9 to celebrate the life and music of Bobby Weir, play the songs we love, and raise money to help people in need. ACE is an independently organized gathering of friends, musicians and Deadheads — not an official Grateful Dead or Weir family event.

We played Good Friends in 2021 under a different name and lineup… rest peacefully, Sky❤️‍🔥 We’re stoked to return in our prime, and we can confirm that we are indeed a PEAK TREAT. We’re playing a winery this time (10/24), and we’re gonna play Ruby Red, which we haven’t played in YEARS. This might be our last show for the rest of the year so we really hope for you to make the trek and soak up our hour long set - nothing but originals <3

I had the pleasure of shooting for OmCat at Hop Springs. It was a great show, and one of my first big forays into concert photography. I’m very happy with how these turned out!
