GOOD AFTERNOON, MY IG FAM!!!!!! HAPPY FRI-YAYYYYY TO YOU ALL!!!!!!!!!! I'm hoping that everyone is feeling blessed and is doing well today so far, as always, for we have made it to the weekend starting point. In honor of that, I wish to dedicate this freestyle scene to show off some of my love and strong support to the group of artists in this extremely passionate and phenomenally lovely, dope song, while bringing some peaceful enlightenment to the scenes, as usual. I hope that you all will like it and hope that y'all may have a blessed, safe, and enjoyable weekend ahead of y'all, that's filled with peace and grace as well. Also, if y'all haven't listened to or heard this song just yet, y'all should go run it up and catch this vibe.😊😇😎🙏🏾☮️💯🔥❤️

This camp has been more than just writing songs; it’s been an education. 🎶🌍

From writing with guitar and vocal passes to seeing how different artists approach the creative process in the studio, I’ve had the opportunity to learn from some incredible minds. Understanding the different writing styles, cultural influences, and personal experiences that inspire each artist has opened my mind to new ways of creating.

I took something from every artist I worked with and added it to my own repertoire, challenging myself to grow and evolve as a songwriter. That’s the beauty of collaboration you don’t just create music together; you leave with new knowledge that makes you better at your craft.

Grateful for the experience, the connections, and the growth. I’m taking everything I’ve learned into the next chapter, and I can’t wait to share what’s ahead. 🖤🖤🖤🚀

Growth is intentional. TO THE MOON 🚀

@reetuguptaofficial Thank you for the amazing opportunity 🫶🏽

When Bob Marley Hope Road closed in Vegas, I honestly didn’t know what was next. That show was the first time music and the arts felt like a real, stable life for me, and when it ended I felt like I was about to take a step backwards. A friend sent me the application for this program right in that low moment, and I’m so grateful I said yes.

From a week in Toronto (studio sessions every single day, masterclasses on sync, publishing, data, copyright and so much more) to bringing it home to Kingston and creating out of the legendary Tuff Gong Studios, this experience taught me more than I can fit in one caption. I learned the business side I was always too scared or confused to touch, I worked with producers and writers I’d never met before, and some of the music we made together is honestly some of my favourite work ever 🥹

But the biggest thing I’m leaving with is this: music is for me. This career can be so discouraging sometimes, especially doing it independently. Being around people who believe in artists enough to build something like this, and creatives from Toronto and Kingston pouring their whole heart into every session, gave me hope again. Real hope.

Big thank you to The Creative School, @aaminaplayit, @charliewallandrews, @reetuguptaofficial, @lowatkis and everyone involved in making this program happen. And to every participant I got to vibe, write and create with, unuh mad!!! I can’t wait for the world to hear what we made 🇯🇲🇨🇦

She was asked to name 5 artists to watch… and ended up putting HERSELF on the list! 😂🔥

When Sasha L. Henry started naming Canadian artists deserving more recognition, she had plenty of names to share. But she wasn’t about to leave herself out of the conversation! 👀

That’s the energy we love! Supporting other artists while recognizing your own talent and growth.

💬 Do you believe artists should compete with each other, or focus on becoming better versions of themselves? 👇🏾
