I met so many lovely authors this month! 🤩 Swipe to find out who's books I got signed! 👀📚

July 6th - Brynne Weaver in Conversation with Aurora Palit
📍 Jasper, Alberta

To celebrate the release of @brynne_weaver's latest book Harvest Season, a special Q&A event with @aurorapalit was held at the Jasper Park Lodge, hosted by @rockymountainbookbox. It was a fun evening filled with shopping at small bookish businesses, hearing Brynne and Aurora discuss eyeballs among other details on writing, and getting signed copies of their books! 😁

July 11th - Omens 2026 Renaissance Faire
📍 Barriere, British Columbia

This small-town renaissance faire had plenty of vendors to peruse for magical potions, trinkets, fantasy clothing and much more. Keeping to the theme were booths from fantasy authors @naomi.bee.tee and @k.j.cloutier.author! Of course, I had to buy their books and get them signed! Remember to support small local authors! 👏

July 17th - Meet the Author: Bailey Hannah
📍 Kamloops, British Columbia

Hosted at the lovely gift shop and boutique @farandwideshop was an auther reading event to celebrate @baileyhannahwrites's latest book Love Wells Kept. Attendees listened to Bailey read an emotional passage from her new book, and then lined up to get a copy signed by Bailey herself! Other activities included a bookmark-making station, mingling while perusing Far and Wide's selection of contemporary romance books, and snacking on some delicious cupcakes! 🧁

July has been stacked for bookish events! It was so nice meeting all of these amazing Canadian romance authors! I'm so excited to dive into their books! Which one would you be curious to try? 📚

💬 Have you gone to any author events recently? Who would you love to meet and why? 📖

I am pleased to present Team Tree, wearing their finery for the @omensevent ball. I’m so lucky to have a group of battle buddies like you! I can’t wait to do it all again next year. @stressie__nessie @packofdax @whistlekyoto @renwicks_post_cosplay #renfaire #larp #balloutfit #cosplayer #fantasyball

I take my job as a Lady very seriously and I make a point to take very good care of my knight @renwicks_post_cosplay Even if he happens to be a little sweaty. 💦#knightinshiningarmor #amtgardbattlegames #cosplay

A battle highlight reel from @omensevent Omens 2026. I had a blast fighting some fellow nerds on the battlefield. Big shoutout to those throwing axes, they are balanced beautifully. #amtgard #amtgardgarb #boffersword #bofferswords #bofferswordfighting

I’ve been carving tree stumps around our property into magical mushrooms 🍄, this one is by far my favourite. Thanks for the help Gnome, and thank you Wyldsage for the Hobbit door. 💚🧙‍♂️🍄
