“You’re the pink in my cheeks and I love that it means I’m a little bit soft…” 🩷🩶🩷🩶

Just some soft cute #Bubbline with my forever candy princess who is the pink in my cheeks & in my entire life (no literally she invented the color pink) @omg.sabamfa 🥰

Shoutout to our friends @survivethelight @silverkleptofox @wildlilflower for encouraging us to ACTUALLY get photos in cosplay and snapping these shots, y’all are the real ones! 🫶

Not to be dramatic, but this was one of the coolest moments of my life??? 😭🩷 Meeting and getting my OG bass prop signed by The Vampire Queen herself, @oliviaroseolson alongside my forever Princess Bubblegum @omg.sabamfa was such an amazing full-circle moment for me! 🥹🥰

Story time: Adventure Time was actually a huge part of my now wife and I’s early days, going on “not dates” watching it! 🫣😂 The very first cosplay we planned together ourselves was Marceline and Bubblegum, and we’ve done several more versions of them over the years from picnic versions to Renaissance versions. I also played Marceline in the @metrocon_fl 2019 Masquerade: Graduation show, in which I used this very bass guitar prop that is now signed and I can’t wait to hang on my wall. So Marceline has always been so incredibly special to me.

The morning this photo was taken, my airbrush broke so I had to last minute pivot and use water based paint (graciously provided by roomies aka saviors @wildlilflower and @silverkleptofox). When we finally got to the con, we raced back to see Olivia and there was a sign saying she’d be back at the exact time I was supposed to check in for the performance contest. So we zoomed to the contest check-in to ask if there was any way I could be a few minutes late, because this was SO important to me - and luckily they were the sweetest people ever (huge shoutout to contest staff member Kendall!), and we made it back to Olivia’s booth a few minutes before she got back. She was the coolest person and this will forever be a cherished memory! And then immediately after, I went on to win a judge’s choice award in the performance contest singing and playing ukulele live as Marceline with my own little rendition that I added a verse and some extra lyrics into of Marceline’s “Happy Ending Song”. How cool is that?? 🥹🩷

-> Swipe through the photos to see a few renditions of our Marcy & PB over the years, and some snippets of my performances as Marceline at @metrocon_fl in 2019 and this weekend in the performance contest at @animateorlando!

Back from @metrocon_fl and feeling incredibly grateful. It was a real honor to be a guest this year and to help judge both the performance and craftsmanship contests. The amount of creativity, effort, and heart that went into every entry was honestly inspiring.

I also had a great time being part of the Embellishments panel (many thanks to my co-presentors, @kayecosplay and @pins.snip.cosplay). Thank you to everyone who came out, asked questions, and shared their own insights. These kinds of conversations are what make con panels so special.

To all the amazing people and cosplayers I met throughout the weekend, thank you. You made this experience memorable in the best way.

Big thanks to my fellow cosplay guests:

It was a pleasure to share the weekend with you! I love get to learn from all the new folks I meet, and y'all made this weekend one to remember!

Thank you to @disfaybled , @omg.sabamfa , and the cosplay staff for being so organized and welcoming and to Metrocon itself for putting together such a fun, well-run event.

I'm not sure when I’ll be back to Florida yet, but I’d love to return sometime in the future!

“It’s true… I was made for you.” 🧡🤍🩷 It’s lesbian visibility day, so I just had to bring back this absolutely stunning photo featuring my gorgeous wife @vanilla_overlord by @adoylible from our engagement shoot almost 2 years ago! ALSO it’s my wife’s birthday tomorrow, the universe truly blessed her with a birthday the day after lesbian visibility week! 🥳😁 #lesbianvisibilityday #lesbianvisibilityweek #lesbianpride🌈
