I had a great week at the 2026 PDGA Amateur Disc Golf World Championships in Buffalo, NY. I played some really cool and challenging courses and competed against some of the top amateurs in the world. I didn’t know what to expect as the 126th rated player out of 283 coming into the tournament. My goal was to play better than my rating and make the cut so I could play in the final round. I was able to do that with 3 solid rounds out including a personal best 1017 rated round! I made the cut and ultimately finished tied for 43rd. I learned that my putt is pretty solid going 48/55 from C1x (between 10-30 meters) for 87%. I need some work on my throwing. Both to increase my distance but to also give me more birdie opportunities by getting closer to the basket. @omgimcalendg @hart_of_the_chains and the @gianna_discgolf crew were great housemates and taught me so much about the game. Congrats Gianna on winning the FA1 Championship! Thanks @carltonkrantz and Lorenzo for shooting practice rounds with me. Having other MN guys here made the tournament less nerve wracking. Thanks to @jack.saia for showing me the local lines as well. I’d thank my sponsors but don’t currently have any! Let me know if you want to sponsor a 947 rated disc golfer. I promise my rating will go up! Lastly, thanks to the @pdga @pdga_amworlds and @wnydiscgolf for putting on this tournament. #discgolf #discgolfamateurworlds

USADGC🇺🇸 First I want to say thank you to my mom for making this trip possible @summerghawkins 🙏 and my family and friends for always supporting me🫶 Didn’t play good at all which is very disappointing and frustrating, but I definitely had a blast! This is probably the coolest event I’ve played, tobagoon is such an amazing course and the whole thing was just super well ran and organized. I loved staying with the SC crew it was a very fun week (@alan_vazquezdg @omgimcalendg @hart_of_the_chains) love you guys Thank you to my sponsors @cardinaldiscgolf use code Hawkins10 for 10% at checkout And @throwmore_discgolfstore the best dg store in the world!!! I finally did it. I finally was able to make sense of my mental game. It all came down to the last hole. 😁 With 25mph gusts and an island the size of C1, just couldn’t get one in bounds for the W. And that is more than okay. This was not about first place and it was definitely not about the rating. I went into the last hole tied for the win, and came out knowing that I can finally connect the dots between practice and tournament play. Up until now I’ve had the hardest times in tournaments due to not being able to replicate practice rounds, and it’s all been mental. Today I won not literally, but mentally. And NOW the winning can begin. 😌 Thank you to my sponsors for believing in me, and get ready, the wins are coming. 🤩 @cardinaldiscgolf @playitagaincolasc @discmaniadiscs Thanks to @codytaplin for a great event today, and congrats to @omgimcalendg for taking it down!🔥🫡 Hey @bone_beaupre I stayed focused 🤜🏻🤛🏻 😁 #championshipmentality #senditbub #discmania #cardinal #discgolf #teamcardinaldiscgolf #teamdiscmania #reels #discgolfeveryday #trending

I think this is my favorite event we do! Our Team AR.GVL tournament! Last year was Envy only and this year was Nomad only, and it was a blast! Teammates and their families are invited to a tournament at a private course in TR where we hangout, play disc golf, and eat bbq! Huge thanks to everyone who made this possible! - @sweetbabyrin for all the behind the scenes work, without you none of this would be possible ❤️. - @wildorchardhomestead @iannigh - for opening their amazing property up to us and being incredible hosts 🙏🏼 - @hometeambbqgvl @donnydt69 for the incredible food! - @pcsamotisdg for knocking the trophies out of park yet again! - @jm_unruh @jeanenelynn @adurham_27 @iannigh for all their helping setting up and tearing down and @hart_of_the_chains for holding down the shop! - and of course our amazing team for all their support all year long 🥹🤝❤️.

@hubcitydiscgolf Amateur Championships Third Year in a row playing this event and it has been by far the most competitive year yet! Round 1: I started off feeling good but hit a lull of a couple bogeys on the back 9 and finished the round with a short missed putt that left me frustrated for a lapse of focus. Round 2: This was the course I felt I was going to make the most strokes on people since I play the course well and hardly ever take big numbers. 2 Birdies, 15 pars and a triple bogey was not how I thought it would have gone. Still a +1 was still good enough for a good finish Round 3: I managed the course well is all I can say. Lots of pars again, some birdies, some bogeys but what really solidified a good finish was the Eagle-Birdie finish to put me T-3 Thank you @vernweygandt and Owen Camp for putting on this tournament and @omgimcalendg for holding down all three rounds with me! Also, thank you @gatewaydiscsports and @down_south_discs for supporting me! If you’ve read this far, I hope you enjoyed the music while reading :)
