Hi! I don’t like brunch but I like brunch food. Not here often.

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I continue to be gobsmacked by the generosity of friends, strangers and people in between. Massive thank-you to @wordbookstores for hosting last night, and to @littleylittley for the thoughtful, brilliant questions; unbeatable IG skills; and Yoohoo! Forever grateful to my chosen fam for showing up again and again, especially on a scorching summer Friday when most of us would otherwise already be in our PJs. (Also, buy books locally, and read them. Dictators hate that.)

I’m one lucky girl. 🥰 To have such lovely friends from different chapters in my life come together and celebrate my birthday - I can genuinely say I have been blessed. Thank you all for being my friends and making this girl feel so special. And special shoutout to my college BFF @taraechambers for sharing your culinary world with us and for the delicious cake! - You truly made me feel like a queen. What a treat! Literally. Love you to the moon and back. 🫶🏼🥰😘

What's your story? 📍 Julie Chen | Part 3 @omgjcdotcom

After 25+ years in Williamsburg, what keeps Julie rooted in #NYC instead of returning to her Boston origins? One simple answer: the #VIBES ✨
There's something magnetic about New York City that continues to draw Julie in day after day, year after year. As Julie puts it, "New York still has interesting people, interesting fashion, and interesting.... EVERYTHING."
When Julie says she "really can't find [this vibe] anywhere else," every long-term New Yorker knows exactly what she means. It's that indescribable quality that keeps us all here despite the challenges, expenses, and occasional subway nightmares, aka "Rites of Passage."

What does Julie love about NYC and why is it so magical? Here’s a hint: it's all about the people.

Beyond the typical 'NYC energy' cliché, Julie and I discuss why people-watching in this city is an art form. 🗽

When Julie says the magic is in the people, she means REAL people - the kind you can't make up, can't predict, and definitely can't find anywhere else. Every corner, every subway car, every coffee shop - a stage where New York's most unique characters perform their daily dance.

Follow along as we uncover more stories of the people who make this city extraordinary. What's the wildest NYC character YOU'VE encountered?

We first saw the seljalandsfoss waterfall on our second night... It is well lit and can be seen from the main road. We are so grateful we revisited on our way back to Reykjavik. You can walk behind the waterfall and marvel at its power. You can also walk further down and explore a few caves, we were stunned to discover a second powerful waterfall in a cave. We had to carefully walk through the water filled cave to an opening with the large rock.... We got a little wet. #iceland #adventure #brave

#HighFashion day @mccarrenparkhouse Describe the style of @omgjcdotcom Some say she looks like an 80s Fashion Editor on the move. Others say she’s an interviewee on a Midtown street by local reporter (also in the 80s). Tell me what you think here 👇
