Friday: Noche Tropical at El Flow with DJ Byron
Saturday: Vintage Havana at AleSmith Brewing Company with DJ Byron

And that’s just the nights. Jorge & Indira, Kati Hernández, Yusniel García, Juan Carlos Blanco, and Más Movimiento are coming together here for the first time for three days of Cuban dance workshops and three nights of dancing with the artists.

Afro-Cuban dance, Rumba, Son, Casino and Rueda, Timba, Guaguancó, Reparto, and more. Full weekend passes are $189 for all three days of workshops and all three socials.

Es un honor recibir en San Diego a Kati Hernández: bailarina, coreógrafa, educadora, productora y consultora cultural cubana. Más que una artista, Kati es una visionaria dedicada a construir comunidad y actuar como un puente esencial entre culturas a través del movimiento.

Nacida en Cuba y formada entre sonidos de tambores y tradiciones, su formación abarca desde el folclor cubano hasta la danza moderna, coreografía y la puesta en escena. Como fundadora de Kimbambula Cuban Dance & Music Ensemble, Kati ha llevado sus raíces a los escenarios más icónicos.

Su aclamado programa Oricha Dance Therapy ha recibido grandes elogios por su enfoque disruptivo y transformador. Fusionando la tradición con una perspectiva “new age “ única, Kati ha creado un espacio de empoderamiento que trasciende la técnica, llevando la danza afrocubana hacia nuevos horizontes de salud emocional y espiritual

Kati continúa desafiando fronteras llevando la esencia afrocubana al mainstream y elevando la representación Latinx y negra en plataformas globales como Times Square con su campaña Una Comunidad en Movimiento.

En Dale Flow aprenderán a compartir y celebrar la danza cubana con respeto por sus raíces y por quienes han dedicado su vida a estudiarla y transmitirla.
