POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

You can think you can do it when you have not done it, but until you do it, and you have done it, do we know that you know it?

I had a moment of reflection yesterday night as I returned home after being a camera operator for the premier of the documentary on MKO Abiola. For the second time in my five years being a professional creative, I was asked to dress well. I got to find out that PBAT was going to be in the room after.

Do you get the gist? I was in the same hall with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the First Lady, and a host of other dignitaries… but that wouldn’t have been. I would have still been sold to that excuse I said to Toyosi when I showed her my Android phone in her sitting room that year. I would have still been getting paid meagre fees for screenwriting.

Demonstration is the proof of knowledge: you’re not who you say you are, until you become that person. Titles only mesmerise your mind. They don’t even register in people’s head.

See this as a challenge to do something you’ve always seen as a part of your identity, but only exists in your head. It could be that you’ve always said to yourself, “I love myself!” but you just can’t say NO. It could be you saying, “I’m a filmmaker, but you’re yet to write your first screenplay.”

Whatever it is. Start today.

REFIRE Lab held yesterday, and seeing everyone in the room, put a smile on our face.

Six months of planning, nine months of dreaming. The dream we kicked off with had even developed so broadly it felt impossible to touch it all, but it all happened!

Here’s to say thank you to everyone who made it possible! If you’ll love to get updates on what REFIRE Lab is up to next, comment ‘UPDATE’ and you’ll get an inbox.

To the team that made it possible, thank you!

Some of us started this year on fire.
Goals written. Plans made. Vision boards saved.

And somewhere between January and now…
the flame got quiet.

Not because you stopped caring.
But because caring without structure wears you down.

REFIRE Lab is for creatives who want to reconnect:
with their work,
their goals,
and the version of themselves that began this year with intention.

For five hours, 30–50 creatives will gather in one room for honest conversations, reflection, and practical systems designed to help you finish this year with clarity, direction, and momentum.

Swipe to see what’s awaits you.

21 days in, that’s 3 weeks already. Over the past weeks I’ve been able to do what I have never done before— create consistently for 21 days, and have it posted

Truly, what has kept me going has been the support I’ve gotten from everyone here. Every like, share, repost, comment, save.. I see them all and I want to say thank youuuu!

I don’t have plans of having 700 people in my wedding ceremony else I’d have invited you all, but I know for sure.. you all are important to me. Thank youuuu!!!!

What stories does your camera tell you?

By the way, my interpretation are so on point, especially with the ‘Tall Bottle of fine man’ description, right?

On Wednesday, I learned what it means to be fearless. Wednesday was not the first time I would be learning about fear, courage and audacity. But W3 service on Wednesday @prm_lasu was a reminder for me that as a child of God, I have nothing to fear.
There is something about fear that amazes me. Fear is actually very bold to tell it to your face that you can't. If what makes me doubt myself is very audacious, then I must be making a very silly mistake by believing it. God has not given me the spirit of fear, therefore I cannot glorify fear. I am a child of God and I am audacious.
If fear raises it's ugly head, I will break it's jugular.

11th slide: FFC @ffc_prm is coming.🔥Make up your mind to attend.
