Onome Agesse-Egbo is a Lagos-based Film and Creative Producer and the founder of Twelve10 Co Ltd, an execution company delivering productions, programs, and projects for brands, creators, and organizations across Nigeria.

Her recent work includes Onobiren: A Woman's Story and Generation to Generation, a British Council/EbonyLife series on which she served as Line Producer.

Onome's relationship with The Christian Storyteller Prize goes back to its early years at Laju Iren Inc, where she worked behind the scenes reading and vetting initial entries before they reached the judging panel, as well as handling administrative duties for the Prize more broadly. That work shaped how deeply she values this Prize as she has seen firsthand the volume and range of stories submitted, and what it takes for a story to be strong enough to earn a judge's attention. Returning now as a judge herself feels like a full-circle moment, and she brings both that history and a producer's eye for stories that are structurally sound and emotionally honest.

Her hobbies are intertwined with her work as she's a film and book lover through and through.

It's a privilege to now sit on the other side of a process she once helped shape.

The stage play was one of the major highlights of the BFF Festival 2026, and it deeply touched many of our BFFs. 🥹❤️

Inspired by the reality of friendship heartbreak and betrayal, the play reminded us that even after being hurt, it is possible to heal, forgive, and love again.

POV: You volunteered for Stage Management with ZERO prior experience and somehow survived 😭😂

BFF Festival BTS was actually a MOVIE. 🎬

From dry runs ➡️ rehearsals ➡️ backstage madness ➡️ “wait, where is everyone?” moments ➡️ finally getting things together 😂

I came to volunteer and left with:
- New experiences
- New people
- New skills
- And approximately 1,000 backstage memories 😂

Would I do it again? Absolutely.
