Miggi doing what Miggi does best. 🎛️🧡 An incredible producer with a sound of his own, this set was all about letting him freestyle, enjoy himself and play the tracks he wanted to play. No pressure, no set formula, just Miggi getting behind the decks, showcasing his sound and letting the music do the talking. 🔊 With the talent he has as a producer, we’re seriously excited to see where the future takes him and how far he can push his sound. cZ, a DSTRICT set to remember. 🧡🔊 The energy from the crowd for this one was something else. From the first tune to the last, everyone was locked in and the reception to the sound made it even more special. A set full of darker grooves, different flavours and some proper soulful moments and easily cZ’s favourite DSTRICT set to date. Nothing beats putting together a set you genuinely believe in and then watching the crowd connect with it exactly how you hoped they would. 🙌 Definitely one that’ll be remembered, and a massive thank you to everyone who brought the energy and made it what it was. Lamela stepped up for her first DSTRICT show and looked completely at home. 🇪🇸🧡 For one of her first times playing in front of a proper crowd, she handled it like a natural. Bringing her own Spanish flavour, great energy and a selection that had the crowd locked in and moving throughout her set. 🔊 You could really see how much she was enjoying herself behind the decks, and the energy coming back from the crowd made it even better. A brilliant first showing and exactly the kind of sound and energy we love having at DSTRICT. First time in the DSTRICT for Joshua Hudson. ☀️🔊 And safe to say he absolutely smashed it. Joshua came through with the summer vibes, putting his own flavour on things and bringing exactly the right energy to 93 Feet East. A DSTRICT regular from day one. 🧡🔊 AKZ has been there for every DSTRICT show so far, always showing up and stepping in when we’ve needed him most, something we’ll always appreciate. This time at 93 Feet East, he got the chance to properly showcase his sound. Techy, deep rollers running throughout, bringing his own darker flavour to the day and showing exactly what AKZ is about. A little more than just a set for this one. 🧡 Cal, one half of F*CKABOUTS, stepped up solo this time around after his other half unfortunately couldn’t make it for personal reasons, but that didn’t stop him from getting behind the decks and showcasing his sound. Cal has been part of DSTRICT from the very start. Not only is he our graphic designer and a massive part of everything you see behind the brand, he’s been a proper key player in helping shape DSTRICT into what it is today. So seeing him put that side to one side for a moment, get behind the decks and simply enjoy playing his tunes made this one even better. 🔊 Massively grateful to have him as part of the team, both behind the scenes and behind the decks. 🤝🧡 Big love Cal. Setting the tone from the very start. 🔊🧡 Big love to Brands for stepping up and opening DSTRICT the right way. A lot of people wouldn’t know this but brands was there at the very first DSTRICT show so it only felt right a year later to get him on for the year anniversary, full circle moment and happy he was apart of such a special show🙌🏻 Opening sets are all about setting the mood for what’s to come, and he did exactly that. Getting the grooves flowing early and giving the day the perfect start. Introducing Miggi🧡 Mikkel Soren Senn, better known as Miggi, is a house producer and DJ, born and raised in Switzerland. He started his passion for music early on in his life, playing drums and guitar in bands throughout his time growing up. At the age of 16 he found a passion for electronic music, so he started learning the keys and started producing and making music himself. After finishing high school, he attended the British Institution of Modern Music(BIMM) where he is now currently finishing a bachelor for Electronic Music Production. Miggi fell in love with house music the way we all do, going to house music events and clubs. His goal with his music is not just making people dance but to send a message and a wave of emotions into peoples souls. Miggi started his DJ career in the underground house scene in the city of London. That’s where his inspirations and connections to house music were made. As he is learning and growing as an artist every single day, he tries to be creative and diverse with his sound designing and DJ sets.
