Have you ever encountered beans that takes forever to cook and you regret it so much?

It’s not that the beans is bad but in a lame man language, the beans is old and so the Pectic compound in the beans becomes very difficult to break down while cooking .

Sometimes it is not even your beans, it is the type of water that you use to cook. You might be using hard water to cook with knowing and you think it the beans.

The solution is to simply add baking soda .

What other methods have you tried to get a stubborn beans soft? Please share in the comments.

EMERGENCY APPEAL!!!

Gbadegesin Habeeb is a 5-month-old baby boy and the only child of his parents.

He is suffering from multiple conditions including severe acute malnutrition, pneumonia with Pleural effusion (Fluid in the lungs), acute diarrhea and oral candidiasis (thrush).

Habeeb is also currently having difficult breathing. He’s feeding through a nasogastric (NG) Tube - a soft tube that allows babies feed through the nose.

Habeeb’s father is a mechanic and his mother helps people to wash clothes for a living.

Both parents are indigent and can’t afford the hospital bills on them at the minute.

He needs a total of N750K for feeding, clothing, hospital bills, medications, and medical Investigations, etc.

Your help will go a long way towards saving the life of a precious little child. We, by the will of Allah, are her only hope at the moment.

Since her husband ABANDONED them at the hospital, she has not been able to settle the hospital bill.
The babies are currently lacking basic necessities such as food and clothing. The outstanding hospital is a total of 550,000 Naira.
