Brokerage. I don’t talk about my brokerage too often because I’ve always believed the agent is the brand. The brokerage should be about adding value to its agents and elevating them with the tools, resources, and opportunities to help them succeed. Not the other way around. For those who don’t know, I ran my own independent commercial brokerage as the principal broker and eventually made the decision to move it to @realbrokerage with plans to become affiliated with the commercial division once it launched. Although it’s not here…yet, I chose to be part of a growing and proven real estate brokerage. This week was another example of why. Nobody talked about uplines, downlines, “recruiting,” or who your sponsor is. That’s the noise I often hear from outsiders who don’t truly understand what collaboration looks like when it’s done right. Commercial real estate shouldn’t be done alone. I created an apprentice program to open doors for people trying to learn CRE, and it has been incredibly successful. Now, we’ve taken another step and created a CRE focus group where agents can learn, collaborate, share experience, and grow together. There’s enough business out there for all of us. Come learn. Find your tribe. Add value. I hope you win today! -Mike V.

#FIBAWC
