These sketches by @siettie of the performers from the inaugural Poets of SIN are so amazing that they needed a post on the NPC IG!

Truly this is what NPC is all about creating art & making genuine connections!

Thank you so very very much @siettie not only for the sketches but for also reciting at Poets of SIN.

“Ain’t nobody left out, everybody gets to go
It can never be too crowded, come on, we still pickin’ up some more
Don’t nobody hate you, playa hate you,
There ain’t no hate at all
Gotta million hands to catch you.”

We laughed. We cried. The poetry was most certainly non-aligned.

A spectacularly curated event featuring phenomenal poets from all walks of life who came together for the solemn duty of reciting poetry. Poetry, spoken word, is the world’s oldest, most powerful art form. To all nine performers who participated in this ancient practice, thank you for making the inaugural edition of Poets of SIN a memorable event.

To the massive audience of thirty-one people who filled up @gtownhq , we thank you for taking time out of your Saturday evening to support local poetry.

Also, a big shout-out to our resident cameraman, @sad_wah , and the team at @gtownhq !

In BLR, thank you to @blraudiodistro and @impressiveimpress for getting copies of @pooja.ugrani.poetry’s ‘My Home Is Dissent’ to Singapore, in order to be gifted to the performers.

We will see you all again at the June edition of Poets of SIN!

Name: Fore
Long ago when crows carried souls into the afterlife and spiders spun threads of fate for the living, there was one creature who fit into neither realm. That creature is Fore.

Fore likes shiny things:
One for a soul that lost its way,
Two for the ones that chose to stay,
Three shiny things Fore tucked from sight,
Then wrapped in silk in the crimson night.

And amidst the Carnival's forgotten dreams,
Fore keeps and offers these needful things.

✨this Spidlet was inspired by my lovely friend Lune (@omyhangu) who gave it its name. thank you for Fore, and i hope you like her!

Decided to make a separate post for these more low-key shots I got of @omyhangu at the shoot, no crazy rgb tube lights nonsense here.

Went to an abandoned building with some friends and had some goofy fun with some tube lights, wouldve shot in other areas of the estate but i was taking these pics inbetween takes of my friend’s video project and it seemed rude to move her lights.

happiest birthday to this gorgeous lovely human bean @thecanaray 💖 thank you for singing and playing for us. please tell small ray as she dreams of the future that i love her and when she grows up she'll be surrounded by so much love and laughter, and she'll be the light in the lives of so, so many. ✨ also we finally all got not just one but several photos together so i am incredibly thrilled by that. (also i wanted to put the music to Atlas in Darkness but alas. i shall await the EP.)
