Journey of Paati / Dhai Aakhar Prem Ka / Our First Draft

2// It all began in January when @actorsahab brought an idea and a semi-cooked structure. It revolved around the thought of parents having past events and people left behind that we never discuss. The idea resonated with us, and that’s what brought the core team together. @whoakashpandit @rashmi___0504

3// As soon as I heard the story, I knew it was set in winter, and Amrik immediately agreed. So, we started exploring the possibility of filming in the Himalayas with the help of @j14yaa and his brother.

4// Like every independent filmmaker, our biggest constraint was funding. That’s when we turned to crowdfunding with the help of @omysathe . Due to various budget constraints and a suggestion from @aadyaaa09 , we decided to shift the shoot to Delhi.

5// @varun__kapoor__15 and his company @brookenreelsproduction , joined us and helped produce the film.

6// From Mumbai to Delhi, the adventure called: General Compartment!

7// Sudha, the heart of the film, was played by @anju.dang.gupta , who also suggested the name Paati for the film.

8// @diwakarbaweja was kind enough to let us use his house as our main location. @maaniiii_ helped secure major shooting spots

9// We also got Ritu Aunty, who I worked with on my first film, and Rajeev Sir to play Manu.

10// Video proof shows how @ishasharma0_0 and @viveknarrates were the gems of the film and tried their best to beat my acting skills, lol.

11// @sanflowerrrrrr took on the role of chief AD. @samraj_agarwal assisted in cinematography along with @inightstar @akilan___ @mukul_985 , and other essential team members.

World Water Day, held on 22 March every year since 1993, focuses on the importance of freshwater.

Theme of this year was Valuing Water.

On this occasion, let's commit to save every single drop of water.
