@wecreate.ourfutures is bringing back our Solarpunk-Inspired Fashion Show for 2026, and we’re looking for bold creators ready to imagine the future through fashion.

🌎 We Create Our Futures is a 3-day Climate, Culture & Arts Festival (October 16–18, 2026) celebrating climate solutions through creativity, collaboration, and community.

🌱 This Year’s Theme: SOLARPUNK

Imagine fashion rooted in ecological harmony, creative resilience, and visionary futures.

A world where reclaimed materials become couture, ancestral wisdom meets futuristic design, and clothing becomes a catalyst for conversation and change.

We’re looking for designers who:

♻️ Work with repurposed, reclaimed, or upcycled materials

🎨 Push creative boundaries and challenge fast fashion

🌿 Believe fashion can be a tool for resistance, healing, and transformation

💚 Share values of climate justice, sustainability, creativity, and community

As one of 5 selected designers, you’ll have the opportunity to:

✨ Showcase up to 5 looks on our opening night runway

📸 Be featured in festival marketing, press, photography, and social media

🤝 Connect with conscious creatives, musicians, artists, and sustainability advocates

🛍️ Sell your collection during the festival

🌎 Be part of a movement, not just a fashion show

There is no fee to participate.

As a selected designer, you’ll receive:
🎟️ Full access to the entire festival
🛍️ The opportunity to sell your work during the event

Please note: Hair & Makeup will not be provided. Designers are welcome to bring their own team.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, so we encourage you to apply early.

The music was phenomenal, the food was everything and the atmosphere they created was immaculate!

@alibadd and all of the incredible partners and staff create a best in class experience with every event they host, and I never want to miss an opportunity to experience what they create!

There was so much to explore including the the hidden speakeasy behind me that I didn’t know was there until someone exited after I took this video lol

The best staff member I know, @onceaking__! Who saw me and immediately ran in for a hug! He is always smiling and so kind! Just the absolute sweetest 💗

@wearehotlap brought the atmosphere to life with curated sounds and a vibe check that passed with deep sea colours for this mermaid

You can never beat the views from the Queens Garden patio!

Always need to stop for a photo in the iconic hallway of mirrors

My favourite drink on the menu just happened to be in the speakeasy, so happy I found it!

Never had a drink I didn’t absolutely love from here all night

You can’t beat the views of the harbour front and the CN tower! @queensharbourto is a must visit all year round

They knew it was going to get hot inside, so they had custom fans ready for all guests! Everything was in the details 💗

This fishy approves!

People see the tan, the bikini, and the stage.

What they don’t see are the early mornings, the missed sleep, the mental battles, and every moment you choose your goal over your comfort.

Today isn’t about being perfect.

It’s about celebrating the person I became while chasing this goal.
