Scrapbook of my 21’-22’ school year
• I’ve taken lots of selfies/mirror pics over this school year. These all hold value for me because my smile is important to me. Spring semester, I got slapped in the face with depression for some time, but these selfies were drops of joy :). Also, God made sure to let my depression know that it had NO place in my life, so I’m incredibly grateful for Him. I also smiled because I wanted to cherish the good times that I had :).
To the people pictured/drawn in this post, thank you for being a bright light in my life :)
• I’ve been blessed to be able to be a part of the Bonner Scholar Program this school year. I’ve worked with the Davies Men Shelter and the Rome/Floyd Community Kitchen. When I began working with the men’s shelter, I had the intention of making sure the guests felt loved and welcomed, and I made sure to do this. But, I wasn’t expecting them to have such an impact on me. I have grown in compassion and have better learned how to love how Jesus loved while serving at the shelter. From long conversations, playing basketball, playing the guitar, game night, making beignets and chocolate raspberry cake to all of the sorting and cleaning, I have enjoyed every bit of it. Making precious memories with the guests, Avielle, Karina, JP, and Ulysses has been a great joy :).
• A random assortment of moments/people that I’m glad I didn’t/don’t have to live without. I got inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma, spoke at Common Worship, sprained my ankle, had Costochondritis, went to the ER, presented at Symposium, and watched Chicago. And through it all God has been good!
• Couldn’t post without mentioning my girls 💙. This team means so much to me, and I will forever be grateful for all the laughter and joy that y’all have given me. Dancing with y’all has been a highlight of my life! 💙
• God is the creator of this beautiful world! It snowed, mushrooms grew, bugs crawled, birds chirped, clouds appeared/ faded away, the sun set, and deer pooped at Berry. I loved being able to capture the beauty that surrounded me at Berry.

Also, if you got to the end of this caption, thanks for reading, and I hope you know that you are loved :) 💚
