Something about that Hybrid of Southern charm and Northern rush always brings a natural glow to my spirit. I haven’t felt this good in a while. The First step of Justice and more growth within myself. I’d Say September wasn’t half bad.

日本にもたくさんファンがいるから。

It’s been one year since I went to “HUGH JACKMAN LIVE: From New York with Love” at Radio City Music Hall on September 19 and 20 last year! 💃
To mark the anniversary, I’m sharing some memories I didn’t post at the time — including some overexposed photos 📸

I heard from other Japanese fans that there were once plans for Hugh to perform live in Japan, but unfortunately, those plans fell through because of the pandemic and other circumstances... 😢
So I really hope he'll perform in Japan someday, even if it's just once. There are so many fans here in Japan who would love to see him live! 🙏🇯🇵🫶

I don't know if I'll ever get the chance to meet Hugh again, so please, someone tell him there's a Japanese fan who saw Song Sung Blue 10 times and The Sheep Detectives 23 times in theaters! 🎥🇯🇵❤️

Leaving Japan with a full heart. The culture, the kindness of the people, the beauty everywhere you turn - is unmatched. I feel forever changed. And getting to do what I love onstage, AND having Van here made it that much more special. Thank you Japan, I promise to be back soon ❤️

JAPAN 🇯🇵

How do I even begin to put into words the past two months in Japan. Do I begin with the memories? the food? The Family Mart? the bars? the vibes?

No, what truly moved me the most were the beautiful people that live here. They accepted me into their country with kindness, warmth, patience when I needed google translate, and so many arigatō gozaimasu’s! A country that lives in a WE mentality not a ME mentality. From the INCREDIBLE people I worked with, to the cocktail bartenders (iykyk), to random strangers on the street-this will be something I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Japan…you have made a way into this heart of mine so deeply and I am going home so full. I LOVE YOU! Arigatō gozaimasu 🫰🏼🇯🇵🥹

“YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE!” The Full Monty Japan 2026 tour has closed! 🇯🇵🎉 the most life changing , wig changing experience of my life and career. @kyodotokyoofficial I thank you. @paul_mcgill_ I thank you. @treyellett and @catherinewalkervoice I thank you. I can’t believe I met my twin sister @yuriyan.retriever on the other side of earth. 🌟💪 this group has taught me so much. I appreciate every second of love we shared. 8 shows a week, 6 days of rehearsals a week. Giving all we had. Crew and all. 🔥 live theater is an athletic FEAT. And I cannot believe a kid from the Steel Valley of Pittsburgh did that with the best of the best in the world. 😭🙏🥹 now for a vacation! 🙏🥹💪🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵
