Over the past two years, I’ve been going to The Father’s House with my mom every Sunday. Today, we took our faith a step further and entered the waters of baptism! ✝️💧

Walking with God these past two years hasn’t been easy. I’ve had to let go of almost everything I once knew and believed. I hardly recognize the girl I was before Jesus saved me.

I didn’t meet Him in a worship service or when I was young. I met Him at rock bottom, when I didn’t want to live anymore. Almost two years ago, I was sitting on the floor, completely lost and ready to give up. I picked up a Bible that had been sitting untouched for years, and a sticky note fell out that said: “Nothing you can do will make Jesus stop loving you.” That moment changed my life forever.

Since then, I’ve questioned Him, wrestled with sin, disobeyed, and wondered if I was really worthy of grace. And yet again and again He’s met me with love, forgiveness, and mercy.

Building my relationship with Him has transformed me into someone I never thought I could be. I’ve truly been washed from the inside out.

For a long time, I kept my faith somewhat quiet. But that’s changing. I was so loud in my sin, and now it’s time to be even louder in my salvation.
