I’ve got some work in this wonderful exhibition ‘For Demonstration Purposes’ @fdpexhibition at @bristol.schoolofart – showcasing objects and experiments made as a part of teaching practices. A side to the work of creative educators that never really gets thought about…

Some of my bookmaking resources are on show as well as the first volume of ‘Where are you a local?’, part of my PhD practice and publishing imprint @silvergrasspress

It’s on show from 11th - 17th July 10-4pm.

A wonderful weekend at @bop_bristol - I’m just about recovered! A weekend full of conversations and catch ups, and a few sales too!

I am always excited to hear how much the ‘Where are you a local?’ series and concept resonates so well with bookfair visitors, and also how visitors’ ideas and responses trigger new thoughts of my own, of its relevance and potential in current climates and contexts.

It was lovely to catch up with @tammidori @manual.editions and get a copy of ‘What makes a photobook sustainable?’, speaking with @photobookcafe and picking up a copy of Mahasagara by @vivekvad and hearing about the fascinating photobook collaborations of @dawn_s_rodgers and @rachelrimellphotography in ‘Edgelands - the edge of elsewhere’ in Limen Vol 1.

And of course meeting my table neighbours, @maxpinckers, and @jeaniejeanphotos with her awesome ‘Not Dead Vol 1’.

Thanks to @bop_bristol @brsphotofest and @martinparrfdn for an excellent event!

Hello London friends! Our experimental collaborative photo book "Where are you a local?" Including works by @julnealpics @oneflyingcub @nuriacastro_photo @leah_band_photography @nigel2664 @lizbrking @jackmattsphoto @em.ma_lambert and myself will be at the @smallpublishers fair from the 28-29 October.

It was such a pleasure to work on this exciting collaborative project which discusses themes of place, home and belongings. The photo book invites you to read, unfold, curate, reassemble, and contribute by playing with the pages of this experimental photo book.

This photo book is published by @silvergrasspress and is available to purchase at the Silvergrass press website. Link in bio.

A quick look at our new photobook, published by @silvergrasspress, [WHERE ARE YOU A LOCAL?] is an experimental collaborative photobook by
@em.ma_lambert @ElizabethRansom @jackmattsphoto @julnealpics
@leah_band_photography
@lizbrking @nigel2664 @nuriacastro_photo
@oneflyingcub

Launched at the Bristol Art Book
Event, it’s now available to purchase from [silvergrasspress.co.uk](http://www.silvergrasspress.co.uk/)

Instead of asking ‘Where are you from?’ the publisher asked ‘Where are you a local?’ Inside are responses from an international group of 9 lens-based artists. The unique design of the book invites the reader to
read, unfold and discover hidden materials; then to curate, reassemble, and contribute.

Happening this weekend!! The launch of the collaborative publication "Were are you a local" by @silvergrasspress would be shown at this year Bristol Artist Book Event (BABE) during a BookRoom discussion panel at 12 noon.

I'm so happy to being part of this beautiful project that made me reflect in what being a local is and how my perspective shifted due to moving to a new country.
I'm forever grateful to Emma @em.ma_lambert for this opportunity and for creating such an amazing group and publication!
