Day 2: We all woke up at 4am got ready to go on Pico do Areeiro hike to see the sunrise. Our legs were dead but it was very well worth the 3hrs to see the beautiful sunrise. There was also a surprise, but we'll talk more about that later 🫣. We made our way back to the city and had some Italian food at iL basilico 🤌🏽 and some gelato. We had food coma, so we came back to the Airbnb, watched Leo 🤣 and everyone just knocked out. Then we woke up in time to go see the sunset 🌅 and partaaaaayyy 🥳

Day 3: Another day, another hike at Paul da Serra. Followed by that, we explored the city, food and the culture. We were pretty much out the whole day and on the way back to the Airbnb, we caught another beautiful sunset by the beach. It all feels like a dream now 🥹 🌅

It was such a wholesome trip. Good people, delicious food, beautiful views, good music and good vibes. What more can you ask for. We first landed in Porto and took another flight to get to Madeira, and picked up our rental and got to the air bnb, and the view from our balcony was just 🤌🏽🤌🏽🤌🏽 by the time we checked in it was almost time for sunset, so we decided to take a little walk and we all saw one of the most beautiful sunsets ever together. To top off the night we stumbled upon this Indian restaurant near our Airbnb, and that capped off our day 1 in Madeira.

Ps: I still dream about the tea we had there 😭
