Hey.

The next few weeks are swamped for your friendly neighborhood alt comic!

Shows in town.

Shows out of town.

Each of them promises to be a great time!

Let’s start, shall we?

This Saturday afternoon, I’ll be doing @comedymatineestl!

Next weekend, I’ll be in Kansas City for @fountaincitycomedyfest!

Then November starts all when I’ll be back at @flyovercomedyfest!

I’ll also be going up to Chicago to do @onelinermadness!

Pretty fun stuff, wouldn’t you say?

I would.

Anyway, I’m excited for all this!

Be you in Kansas City, Chicago, or St. Louis, if any of this interests you, do come to a show!

If not, disregard.

Anyway, I hope to see YOU (points at camera) around!

I love you.

Thanks a lot.

Got bounced in the first round but as we all know with comedy competitions the real winning is not hanging yourself from a ceiling fan after.

Thanks for the pictures @tastytim123 and thanks for the laughs @onelinermadness

I did little to nothing for @onelinermadness minus slang some chairs because soml.

Thanks to @tastytim123 for reminding me why I always need to keep a curling iron in my car (and stop leaving it at venues all over the tri-state area).

Still one of my favorite nights of the year. 🫶

⭐ @onelinermadness at @spiritpgh is one of my favorite nights of the year ⭐️

Congratulations to @disilviolorenzo 👑 and second place @plasmarift 🏆

A couple of important notes:
1. The height difference between Weidman and Lorenzo isn’t that insane but this pic cracks me up.
2. I should’ve taken more pics
3. I hate chairs so effing much.

In this episode, Eileen Kelly and Emily Winter swap some ghost stories and share a little practical magic with pendulums and energy work. This paranormal episode lifts the veil dividing this realm and the next, although this realm is not without its horrors. Find out if modern culture has killed joy or if society as a whole is scarier than the things that go bump in the night.

More About Our Guest:

"Emily Winter is a former journalist turned comedian, TV writer, live show producer, and author. Before pursuing comedy writing, she covered a London train bombing terrorist attack for the Associated Press, wrote for a local newspaper in Wisconsin, and was the editorial director of SparkNotes.
In the comedy world, her professional credits include the NPR game show “Ask Me Another,” the E! game show “Cash at Your Door,” the Nickelodeon kids’ comedy “That Girl Lay Lay,” Fusion TV’s news/comedy show “Come Here And Say That,” TV Land, The New York Times, The New Yorker, Glamour, and The Barnes & Noble Review. Her unprofessional credits include: She once ate a beetle out of the carpet because she thought it was a Raisinet.
Winter’s standup comedy can be heard on SiriusXM. She has performed at SF SketchFest, HBO’s Women in Comedy Festival, Laughing Skull Comedy Festival, The Limestone Comedy Festival, and many others. She hosts and co-conceived of a New York Times and Time Out recommended 64-comedian joke contest called ONE LINER MADNESS, which travels the country to find the best joke writer in every city with a thriving comedy community.
Winter’s work has been profiled on/in The TODAY Show, The New York Times, NPR, The AV Club, the TED WorkLife with Adam Grant podcast, Buzzfeed + more!

🎉🎉🎉 IN Pittsburgh TONIGHT
On Friday, October 2, 64 Pittsburgh-area comedians will go head-to-head in a fast-paced, bracket-style, single-elimination joke tournament. Audience applause determines which performers advance, and who ultimately becomes the 2026 ONE LINER MADNESS CHAMPION
