You know that highly specific urge to just... evaporate for a few hours? 🫠👇🏼

In a “turn off my phone, sit in a dark room, and completely forget what year it is” kind of way. 💀

This week’s Principal Update IS that feeling.
Here are two completely different alternate timelines to escape to.

1️⃣ “Sutra” by Flashback 🕯️

Close your eyes for a sec.

Imagine you're in an underground spa illuminated entirely by candlelight.

(Yes, it is exactly as majestic as it sounds. 🤌🏼)

Flashback actually built the groove around a Richard Marx song he was obsessed with, then left it for a year... When he finally opened it back up, he channelled pure Enigma energy and finished 99% of the track in three days flat. 🤯

And instead of drowning it in cold synthesisers, he used human vocals buried deep in the mix.

Which explains why it's so warm.

Less “robotic machine music.”
More ✨Transport you to a higher state of mind. ✨

2️⃣ “Ember Wings” 🌌

This is a song entirely about being lost… that ironically makes you feel completely okay with it. 🙃

You know that exact moment you realise you took a wrong turn at 2 AM...

You're somewhere on the edge of the city. The streetlights are glowing orange. The roads are completely empty.

And instead of turning around to go home… you just keep driving. 🏎️💨

It’s the soundtrack for the timeline where you don’t have a GPS, you don’t have an early meeting tomorrow, and for once, the destination doesn’t actually matter.

===

Go unplug for a bit. You genuinely deserve it. 💃🕺🏻
