When one of your favourite swim spots is cloaked in snow it feels like you've gone to another land.

Time, space and sounds are all altered, the child's delight of snow erupts and then you get in the water with good companions. A magical way to start your day.

As we say goodbye to 2024 I’m feeling beyond grateful for B&Co, this year is extra special as I have managed to build a team of people that are not only, the most talented people I know, but that I can call each one a dear friend - that is extra special.

Working with cumbrian business to deliver their vision is our passion and I hope to continue to do this with these amazing people next year and beyond.

The fact I get to head into work and see this bunch every week is such a joy! I am truly living out my dream running B&Co, I wouldn’t want to do anything else. We have worked on so many amazing projects in 2024 and I feel 2025 is going to be the best yet!

Thank you to all of our lovely clients - I say this all the time to the team but I truly feel we have the best clients ever! I hope you all have a brilliant Christmas with your loved ones and a very happy new year!

See you in 2025 for the best project yet…

Hello! Long time no see.
I've pretty much fallen off the face of social media for the past year. 2020 was horrid, and I'm bracing myself for 2021 to be just as rough. Seeing positive posts on here has helped keep me going, but I still fell into a spiral of anxiety and overthinking deciding if it's appropriate for me to share anything on here myself. There's so many things to be angry and scared and sad about that I get too overwhelmed to do anything. I wouldn't have been able to get through last year without the support of my friends and clients, huge thank yous to them.

I thought I'd start this year with a post as an introduction/refresh. I read somewhere instagram only really favours images with people in them now apparently? Who even knows any more.. 🤷🏼‍♀️

For new folks I'm Sarah - designer and illustrator behind One Owl Studio, providing all things creative to businesses big and small. I've recently moved to Edinburgh from Cumbria and enjoy exploring the outdoors, hiking, nature watching and foraging. While indoors you'll find me baking, dabbling in ceramics and wrangling our cats (whose favourite activity is showing off their singing voices when we're on work calls).

New badges part two! I'm very grateful to my fantastic designer Sarah of One Owl Studio for resolving this on my behalf. She worked really hard to get the design just right and we were both gutted when the first batch arrived with a wrong colour. Sarah liaised with Made by Cooper who produced a new correct batch that arrived today.
