Tabling at @crossroadsgarwoodnj for the EJG benefit with Catch 22 last week was a genuine treat and pleasure. Thank you to @jeffdavidson and @official_catch_22 for having us! We’ve heard the event was a terrific success and we couldn’t be happier to have been a very, very small part of it. This project has given Tim and I so many gifts because of the generosity of our contributors, and events like this one are EXACTLY why this whole thing’s a thing. Our good buddy and contributor Jeff took this photo for us—the weather outside was horrific but the vibes inside were all warm and fuzzy. See you soon! Be good!

Any Silkworm/Bottomless Pit/Mint Mile fans out there? If so, this one’s for you! @midyetttim has decided to jump on board, and we’re happy to have him!
That being said, he’s churned out quite a bit of music in his time, so our question to you is: Which band/album/song should a new listener start with?

Hey there! Please give a warm welcome to Tess! If you are not familiar with her band, it’s never to late to dig in now!

Hi! Hey! Me (Nick) and Tim will be tabling at this terrific event all day tomorrow talking about the project and slinging some of our own books! Come on out for AMAZING tunes for a tremendous cause! Pop by our table and say hi if you can too! Exclamation points!

Happy Friday! Please welcome Chris Kennedy to the project!

I (Tim) credit his band Ruth Ruth with opening my eyes to underground music when I saw a video to Uninvited in 1995. If you are unfamiliar with @ruthruthband , dig in NOW! Short on time? Just spin The Little Death EP (@epitaphrecords )

Any other Ruth Ruth fans out there? Which track would you recommend to a first time listener?

How ‘bout another international contributor? Please welcome Scottish/Australian multi-instrumentalist Laura MacFarlane to the project!

Hey there! The manuscript has been submitted, but we’re not done introducing the fine contributors just yet.

So please welcome Barclay Mitchell to the family! If you’re unfamiliar with his band, fix that immediately! Nick and I are big fans.

We did it! The manuscript is in hands much more capable than ours! BIG big thanks to our contributors, supporters, friends, followers, Unsolicited Press, and Punk Rock Saves Lives!

We’re tired. We’re gonna go lie down now. Maybe take a day. KTHXBYE.

Guys! Thank you so much! Your interest in our project was already so encouraging, but over the last two weeks we jumped up 600+ followers. Jaw-dropping! Thank you for everything! We’re turning in the manuscript TODAY, so keep your eyes peeled for what’s next!

Hi! Please welcome Josh to our fun little (actually big AF) project!

Josh is a Jersey guy (like Tim!) and snarls and barks for the most excellent @schooldrugsnj

Despite his name, he’s actually a sweet fellow.

And word on the street is that he can also cook up some mean meatballs and marinara sauce…
