‼️ The reason I flew to Perth to train with @oneseven_studios was because of her incredible knowledge and passion around pigments and what’s safe/whats not. Not only that, but a lot of pigments don’t heal well, over time you may be left with pinky/salmony/greeny eyebrows. Which is why it is so important to ask your Artist what pigments they use and quiz them on ingredients.

Unfortunately in NZ it isn’t regulated and the use of safe pigments is rare. Some of the risks below which can be found in the offical EU regulation:

“The regulation covers substances in tattoo inks and PMU that were restricted because of concerns relating to hazardous chemical properties. Europe specifically restricted substances that were considered not suitable, including substances classified for hazards such as carcinogenicity (cancer risk), mutagenicity (DNA changes), reproductive toxicity (effects on fertility or reproduction), and skin sensitisation (allergic reactions).”

This isn’t to scare anyone. It’s just a gentle reminder to ask questions and be cautious about what is going into your skin 🖤

6 week ombré tattoo touch up ❤️‍🔥

This client wanted a naturally filled in looking brow shape that compliment her features, but don’t overpower her face. Another key request was to ensure her brows weren’t too noticeable to her children because, they’re our harshest critics 😂 #iykyk

Seeing how soft these brows healed on her first appt we knew we wanted to go in with the exact colour, shape & technique that was done during her first appt. So they will settle similar, but slightly more pigmented for years to come 🤍

Things to note when getting tattooing done is that your semi permanent makeup will fade by approx 40-60% post healing & will slightly shrink in size. They can also appear slightly warmer once done as the brow area will react to having the skin penetrated during your appt. However after a couple of days this subsides ☺️
