Banff.

6 years in this town, 6 years of learning, of happiness, of pain. Banff isn’t the same town as when I arrived and I’m not the same josh. I’ve grown so much from living in this town but it had to put me through absolute mental torment to get to growth.

The pain started to outweigh the good so I took the sign and chose to make the change.

The community and humans I discovered in Banff made it all worth it and if it wasn’t for all of you I don’t think I’d still be walking this earth today. Thank you to all the friends I made along the way, for bringing your dogs into @rudeboysshop to cheer me up. To sending me kind messages and offering your time and presence when I was going through hard times.

To being part of a family away from family @sarahvdz. Which made it all so much easier, having so many people inspire me and encourage me to keep moving forward.

There are so many of you I couldn’t fit in this post but you know who you are. I love you all but I’m leaving this holler. Leaving this Heartache.

Leaving the way things used to be, I will not be returning, my spirit is still yearning for a chance at being happy, lord and free.

There’s just too much to post so here’s some photos/videos from the last 48 hours in Banff!

I can’t believe that it’s been 2 years…. Already. When I first moved out to Banff I wasn’t skating and I wasn’t motivated to do the shit that I actually love, but look at me now :))

Of course I wouldn’t be where I am today without the help of all the homies, you know who you are!! And of course the best local shop always looking out for the community @rudeboysshop !!!

To all the friends I’ve had to leave behind this isn’t a farewell, only a see you later! I’ll be back to visit soon!! Take care of yourselves I love you all!!
