Genesys: A New Blueprint for Underground Culture Founded in 2022 by @ib03y2.0,@020baby and @222paritos, Genesys @genesys1.1 began as a vessel for deep worldbuilding—a portal through which inner mythologies could materialize into physical and digital form. Now, in 2025, Genesys stands as a global underground force, with its roots in London and branches stretching across Japan, China, and South Korea. At its core, Genesys is a cultural keiretsu—a unified flag flown over music, fashion, and immersive technology. Each of its events follows a metaphysical life cycle: Birth, Growth, Decay, Death, Afterlife—each stage tied to an evolving storyline, set across cinematic spaces and mirrored through fashion capsules, VR livestreams, and high-concept media inspired by the likes of Hideaki Anno, Hideo Kojima, and 2000s Japanese arthouse. 2025 marked the conclusion of the Abyssal Core series, a four-part mythos that brought together artists and audiences at the intersection of rave, ritual, and sci-fi prophecy. Abyssal Core: Part 3 at The Steelyard, London, featured names such as Yung Sherman @yungsherman95, Thrilliam Angels @thrilliamangels  & LUNG  @lung.lung.lung.lung.lung.lung along with Genesys residents. The night introduced Total Sonic Knockout, a first-of-its-kind, live MMA-rave hybrid sponsored by HardK.Ore Corporation and sanctioned by the Ultimate Raving Championship. Fighters clashed to 150bpm techno in a spectacle where rhythm and violence were inseparable. The Abyssal Core cycle also included appearances from names such as Malibu @malib9 Mechatok @mechatok, Kamixlo @kamixlo, and Varg2™ @varg2tm—adding to a legendary lineup that has previously featured Bladee @dg_bladee , Hatsune Miku, COUCOU CHLOE @coucouchloe and Ecco2k @aloegarten As their universe expands across continents, Genesys continues to carve out one of the most distinctive platforms in underground culture today.
