Just like that, we’re officially in August 😅

July was a month I had mixed feelings about. In a lot of ways, it felt similar to June, a few weeks were packed with opportunities, while others felt a little slower than I expected. But honestly, that’s not necessarily a good or bad thing.

I’ve been grateful for everything this summer has brought : the creative work I’ve been able to take on, the events I’ve been invited to, and the special moments I’ve gotten to share with friends, from a bachelor weekend to celebrating birthdays and everything in between.

During those slower moments, I sometimes catch myself thinking, “Could I be doing more?” or “Am I doing enough?” Growing and building my creative business comes with those highs and lows, and it’s part of the process.

Timing has a funny way of working itself out. I’ve always believed that when the right opportunities come, I’ll be ready for them.

I’ll also be honest, I had planned on moving out on my own this month, but my car had other plans. Having to put money into getting it fixed wasn’t exactly how I wanted to spend that money, but it was necessary. I know my time will come, and everything will align when it’s supposed to.

Overall, July was a month of patience & appreciating the season I’m in.

Now we kick off August with a trip back out west. ✈️🌵
