Week 10: De Laatste Rechte Lijn
Here and Then, Now and There

Thanks to @antibodylabel,
Inland Island gets a second life!

Still an invitation to experience an imaginative narrative in a bodily way, you can now listen to it outside its original, performative settings, in the comfort of your own home

Coming Wednesday, we celebrate this release during Trance Inducers, an evening and radioshow devoted to sonic immersion and hypnotic resonance.

Join us in the dark!
Live stream via: wearevarious.com

In Inland Island's initial iteration, a small group of participants entered a dimly lit room and gathered around a round table glowing faintly in the dark. Through headphones, they were addressed by a voice without a body - celestial? otherworldly? - hovering outside our grasp of time and space. Touching on concepts like presence, connection and perception, the voice sought connection, as well with each listener as among them, and gave particular attention to their hands.

On dec 20 we’re throwing one of the last parties in our homebase in Ghent, this time a benefit party to recover some funds to buy back our material that got stolen from the studio.
We’re bringing an 18-hour long musical program, starting with an evening of live concerts showing the best of live experimental electronics, going straight into a night filled with old & new sounds that were always there to go beyond the norm. Prepare for a night full of deep, noisey & experimental hardcore.
To support the fundraiser we’ll also be serving food & printing fresh shirts with a new design.

GRNDLGGRS & KUNSTHAL GENT presenteren OPERATIE PANDOERING.

✨ About last night... (last week)

I still feel the electricity in the air. The exhibition of 'Het Pretpark' turned two dormant spaces into a living, breathing experiment.

To Nele Vanthomme and Peter Van Ammel:
thank you for trusting BLUT! Art Gallery to walk this uncharted path together. You transformed abandoned corners into a creative world full of texture and visual curiosity.

We're deeply proud to have been part of it.

Thank you to ONRUST, KINDVRIENDELIJK & DR. GREEN for the juiciest cherry on top.
What a banger of a finissage!

📸Dear visitors ☺️

NEXT UP?

Be back soon with Laurianne Donnez 'MULTIPLE' ✨
