Be sure to tune in tonight 9/11/26 at 8p, when Host Maubra Foster RN sits down with Chicago’s own Hip Hop Artist @bigdawginkdawg .
InkDawg grew up on the Southside of Chic in a single parent household with his mother siblings. Life wasn’t easy with family struggl coupled with navigating Chicago violence ai gangs, but he continued to persevere through journey that God had planned. As a kid, InkDawg would write about his hardships, including loss of 2 sisters, which later translated into a love for music & songwriting. A former independent artist with Def]am, Ink Dawg has achieved success as a songwriter. He collaborated to write a song called “Warriors” with his mentor Rhymefast from Good Music
Dondas House. InkDawg has also received Grammy nominated acknowledgement for co-writing “Mama Ain’t Raise No Fool” with his brother, Don Debo, which led them to rock the BET Experience Stage & Aahh Fest with Kayne West and other legendary names. If you look closely, you can find him in the background of Chicago-based TV series, Empire and The Chi. Outside of music, InkDawg is a humanitarian, something that was instilled in him from his parents who were big influencers in the neigh- borhood. He has been recognized for his efforts in leading the largest, peaceful Dr. King March in Chicago alongside his mother. He also received the Humanitarian Award from the Universal Zulu
Nation.
So be sure to follow this page and our IG page (@onscene1), then tune in right here tonight at 8p for a brief live preview.
