💜For her. And every girl finding her own way.

International Day of the Girl 💜

As a mum to Raewyn, I think more than ever about the world I want her to grow up in. One where she knows her voice matters, she belongs and she never has to fit a particular mould to follow her dreams.

Basketball has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My journey hasn’t always followed the path I imagined, but it’s shown me that there are so many ways to find your place, contribute and make a difference.

And now I get to share that journey with my daughter.

Through commentary, Courtside Coffee Catch-Up and my involvement in female participation, I’m passionate about helping create opportunities, amplify voices and share the stories of women and girls across our game.

Because representation matters. Feeling included matters. And having people who believe in you can make all the difference.

I want Raewyn to grow up seeing women in all kinds of roles — leading, creating, challenging expectations and supporting one another.

Not because I expect her to follow in my footsteps, but because I want her to know she can choose her own.

And I want that for every girl.

Here’s to raising girls who know their worth, encouraging them to use their voices and continuing to create spaces where they feel they belong. 💜

May she always know she belongs.

The path isn’t always the one we imagined.

But there are so many ways to find your voice.

And so many opportunities we can create for those coming next.

Strong women support each other. And inspire the next generation.

Her future. Her voice. Her own path. 🩵

You can’t be what you can’t see. Representation matters.

Dream big. Be yourself. Never feel you have to fit someone else’s mould.

Awesome opportunity tomorrow to commentate in the NBL for the first time, and what a game it should be with Throwdown 34, South East Melbourne Phoenix vs Melbourne United.

Both teams sitting 2-3 on the season not wanting to fall too far behind in the early part of the season.

Can’t wait to be on the call with @jamiecasts for a 7:30pm tip off with

Best action in the buisness on @onthecollective tune in on the Mixlr app.

Relive the dramatic penalty shoot-out from last weekends second leg of the @aleagues Men’s Semi-Final from a sold-out McDonald Jones Stadium 🎙️🏟️

Will Gotsis and Adam Palombi were on deck as the @newcastlejetsfc finals run came to an end after a gripping battle with @sydneyfootballclub closing the curtain on a campaign which delivered Hanh Australia Cup and Premiers Plate success for Mark Milligan’s side.
