Books brought us together, but friendship made this day so special. 📚❤️

After months of chatting online, we finally got to meet in person! 🥹✨

Tatyana from @onthesamepg came all the way from Canada to South Florida, and @pageswithjodi and I were so excited to show her around our neck of the woods. ☀️🌴🇨🇦 What started as a shared love of books turned into a day filled with laughter, great conversations, and memories we'll be talking about for a long time.

The best part? From the moment we met, it felt like we'd been friends for decades. No awkwardness, no small talk, just good vibes, endless laughs, and the kind of connection that reminds us why we love this community so much. 💕😂

Bookstagram has given us so much more than book recommendations. It's brought us genuine friendships that span cities, states, and even countries. We're so grateful our love of books led us to each other and that we got to spend this time together. 📚✨

✦ 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗮𝗽 ✦

This weekend was really one for the books... pun absolutely intended. 📚💕

Friday was Sugar Honey Black Romance Book Club at @steamylitbookclub , hosted by @4jordanae and it was such a great time! Demons Dream by @ellekayson96 was an incredible book club pick and sparked some of the best conversations. I also coincidentally got to meet @goodvibeslo in person and I can confirm she's in fact as great a vibe as her content suggests. 💖

Saturday was mostly a work day, but I still managed to sneak in plenty of bedazzling ✨ and annotating time with Ferron and Helena during my Alchemized reread. 🖊️📖

Sunday was the cherry on top! 🍒 I finally got to meet @tatyanakhope from @onthesamepg in person and, of course, dragged @pageswithjodi along for the adventure. 😆 We grabbed brunch and, in true book girl fashion, created our own little bookish crawl through downtown Fort Lauderdale. 📚☕✨ (Footage coming soon!)
