Welcome to our world. 🐏❤️

We’re representing Winston-Salem State University in the A Different World Challenge with our own campus-inspired opening sequence using the official A Different World theme song.

Follow a student as they journey through WSSU, encountering performances, Greek life, athletics, royalty, and the energy of student life along the way. Every transition captures a different piece of what makes the WSSU community unique.

THE HBCU DRESS CODE: THE TRAILER

From campus trends to unspoken rules, what we wear has become more than just clothes. It’s identity. It’s culture. It’s expression. But somewhere along the way, did we start dressing for each other?

“THE HBCU DRESS CODE” explores the culture behind what we wear, why we wear it, and the expectations that come with it.

The conversation is bigger than fashion.

The story is officially out. 📰✨

I’m excited to share that our upcoming documentary, The HBCU Dress Code, has now finished production!!

People often see the fashion at HBCUs, but this film explores what exists beneath the surface—the history, identity, confidence, tradition, and culture woven into every outfit.

This documentary is about how style becomes a language and why it continues to shape generations of students. Thank you to everyone who has supported this vision so far. This is only the beginning.

Stay tuned for interviews, behind-the-scenes moments, and updates as we bring this story to life.
